On the morning of March 4th, 1818, two men leading mules burdened with over five hundred pounds of rope entered a Tennessee cave. Only one man would leave that dark place....... screaming of death, demons and the Devil's Abyss. When I bought a Tennessee farm house a few years ago i never counted on finding a tin box stuffed with a moldering old manuscript and detailed maps. Almost two hundred years old, it detailed a bizarre series of events that led to the death of one man and the ruin of another, a man by the name of Aaron Higgenbotham. I'm not afraid to die and I don't believe in demons, but I love a mystery. So I used Higgenbotham's maps and found his cave.
