Ishutel

The Word is fire. The Blade is judgment. And Ishutel carries both. Cast out of Heaven for daring to ask a forbidden question—Why must they suffer?—Ishutel walks the earth as neither angel nor man. In his hands are two remnants of eternity: a flaming sword and a living Book that still speaks with the voice of Heaven. Wherever darkness preys upon the innocent and despair silences prayer, Ishutel comes—not as a savior, but as an exile who still remembers the light. His wandering brings him to Berith, a rain-soaked town where faith is dying. Witchcraft has tightened its grip around the church, fear has silenced its people, and an ancient darkness is awakening. At its center waits Lilith, a queen of shadows whose Sabbath threatens to claim more than the souls of one forgotten town. To face her, Ishutel must wield both the Word and the Blade, confronting not only the darkness before him, but the questions that caused Heaven to cast him out. Yet he does not travel alone. At his side is Ro’eh, a trembling gray donkey with an uncanny ability to see into the unseen world. His foolish humor hides unexpected courage, and he may prove that Heaven can use the most unlikely creatures in the greatest of battles. Together, exile and beast enter a war between faith and fear, truth and deception, light and shadow. In the half-light of exile, what burns brighter—Heaven’s Word, or the lies of the darkness? Ishutel: The Blade and the Word is a dark supernatural fantasy of fallen angels, ancient evil, spiritual warfare, sacrifice, and redemption—where biblical imagery collides with an epic battle against the powers hiding beyond the veil.
