Into the Dark

Alexis Carew has spent her life learning to run a frontier holding—managing crews, making hard calls, and thinking like a leader. But when her future on Dalthus is cut short, she takes the only path left that offers freedom: the Royal Navy. As a midshipman aboard a shorthanded warship, Alexis is thrown into a harsh, unforgiving life where discipline is absolute, mistakes are costly, and respect must be earned the hard way. The fleet is stretched thin, tensions are rising beyond the Fringe Worlds, and something dangerous is moving in the dark between systems. Out here, there are no second chances. To survive—and to rise—Alexis must master the art of command, prove herself to a skeptical crew, and face the brutal realities of war in deep space. Into the Dark is a fast-paced military sci-fi adventure of starships, strategy, and coming-of-age under fire—perfect for fans of space fleet combat and age-of-sail tradition reborn among the stars.
