Omedus

This audiobook is narrated by a digital voice. "Art Kingdom built a criminal-adverse weapon. An atmospheric agent that Inadvertently could endanger his best friend, who looks and acts human, but he is not. Now that friend is caught in a deadly game: get Art to invent an antidote without revealing what he really is." The Omedi are dying and only they know why. They came to earth six-thousand years ago and have monitored and manipulated earth’s weapons advancement to prevent the same technologies that destroyed their planet, because earth was their home, too, and they were determined to keep it safe. Then a young scientist slips past their detections. A brain agent he’s created that debilitates psychotic criminals, yet deaths were being reported shortly after its release. Now the embattled scientist must prove his behavioral agent isn’t causing people to be consumed by flesh-eating, mutating amoebas, unaware that an intermingled race of aliens had avoided his exhaustive trials for fear of exposure.
