Round The Moon

Step into the original space race and embark on a harrowing journey beyond the atmosphere! In the direct sequel to From the Earth to the Moon, President Barbicane, Captain Nicholl, and the flamboyant Frenchman Michel Ardan find themselves sealed inside a hollow aluminum shell, fired from a colossal cannon directly at the lunar surface. But from the moment of ignition, their mathematically precise mission derails into a fight for survival. Enduring the crushing forces of the launch is only the beginning. Hurtling through the airless void, the trio faces terrifying close encounters with massive meteors, the blistering heat of the sun, biting cosmic cold, and the disorienting physical marvels of zero gravity. As they close in on their destination, a chilling realization sets in: a minor deviation in their flight path could mean they will never land at all, but rather orbit the moon for all eternity.
