That's because of the sometimes unpredictable tissue response - cartilage can warp, bone can regrow... and that adds up to a 15% redo rate. Clean skin is essential for healthy skin. Clean skin starts with daily washing and exfoliation with a washcloth or fruit acids. For the cleanest skin, microdermabrasion every few weeks exfoliates and suctions out pores.
