Bleep Bulimia Episode 93 Part 4 of 5 with Benjamin The Dream Wizard On His Handwriting Analysis

5/25/2023
This is a fun series of 5. The first time I am doing a series, because I believe 30 minutes at a time is the best way to listen to a Podcast. I was a guest on Benjamin's Podcast The Dream Wizard and I was amazed. I also had him on as a guest here to discuss his ability to interpret dreams. Episode #93 of The Dream Wizard Podcast is when I appeared, and while he interviewed me, he took notes. I asked if he wanted me to do a handwriting analysis for him. He agreed and sent me the notes. This is the outcome. We went through each characteristic in depth, so this was a two-and-a-half-hour discussion. Welcome to Part Four of Five. Support the show

Bleep Bulimia Episode 89 with Susan Gold, Humble In Intro as an Author and Coach. She is so much more.

5/10/2023
This may be a shorter interview, yet a compelling one, and we didn't get into all the Los Angeles information about this beautiful lady. Susan Gold came on and I had a long intro for her and she said just introduce me as an author and coach. She is so much more than that. It was an honour having her on my Podcast as I am honoured by all my guests and love that all are not about selling or promoting themselves. Susan made that clear in our pre-interview chat. I am proud that my guests are not here to sell. They are here to send a message and reach out. That is what my podcast is all about. Find the person you relate to and yes!! please find that person. Susan is GOLD. I love the story of the body finding intuitively the pain. I can't find that to be easy because my body still holds pain. I love that she spoke to taking the time to find out why. I, like Susan, struggled with self-love. Narcissism. It's a common word that social media made known, and there's truth to it. Too, the empath. And also the supply a narcissist goes after. I love that Susan shared about letting go. And loving yourself. YOU are what matters. Please, if you are struggling with bulimia or even self-worth, I recommend Susan's book, Toxic Family. It's more than the title. It's about enlightenment. It's about transformation. And as Susan says in the Podcast, it's where you start to learn about it. Her book. And if you need more support... reach out to her. The beauty of Susan saying about finding the love you feel for you. Bleep Bulimia Episode 88 with Collin Hughes Suicide Prevention Advocate

3/30/2023
This episode was quite emotional. From Collin sharing his truth in life and his pain of a life that is a book to come, I hope. Truthfulness and honesty and pain. It's hard to lose someone suddenly. I did try to relate suicide to Bulimia and Eating Disorders. This was why I had Collin on this episode. There were spoken words of quick loss versus slow ones, however, to me this was about having someone come on in pain and sharing that if you are feeling pain, and you are experiencing an eating disorder, it IS A SLOW SUICIDE. I hope you find out more about Collin Hughes and Collin's story and his fight against suicide. I know the feeling. I felt like I wanted to drive into a pole when I was going through a divorce. I heard the love of my life tell me she put a noose around her neck and she failed and I am grateful for that she is okay now... although still suffers from "what is this world about and why the f' am I here?" Scares me that she still has those thoughts. So still every day I wonder. What percent of us have thought about suicide, and yet are scared and doing it slowly, like I did for 30 years? I was told that. Bulimia is a slow suicide, as are all eating disorders. Mom told me tonight that she noticed I and my sister who also dealt with weight and mental health issues have learned how to live life with beauty and enjoy food, while also knowing to enjoy... and learning about what your body needs, and that you need just to enjoy life. My parents were freaked out about losing me when I was bulimic. I have had friends with anorexia whose parents felt the same. KNOW THIS, AN EATING DISORDER IS A SLOW SUICIDE AND SCARES THE HELL OUT OF THOSE WHO LOVE YOU! My daughter knew I had bulimia and asked me to please LIVE. I hope this loss and pain make you realize YOU MATTER! Bleep Bulimia with Benjamin The Dream Wizard on Bulimia Possibly Causing Dream Skews and Distortions

3/17/2023
I remember first being on Benjamin's podcast. I felt comfortable right away. I was intrigued by my dreams. I had struggled with a recurring one. We addressed that one. With two to three hours he shares with his guests on his Podcast The Dream Wizard, I still didn't feel it was enough to get into all the weird and grey (no colour) dreams I had when I was bulimic. That was for another time. And this is the episode with Benjamin as a guest that is. Having said that, it was interesting that after he interviewed me on his Podcast and was making some suggestions as to WHY this recurring dream may be, it became clear and he was spot on, and I stopped having them. In this episode, you will learn about how dreams can be affected by diet, and emotions, in a fun way. I appreciate Benjamin more than anyone will know. It is why I felt compelled to have him as a guest here. If anyone here who listened can relate to strange dreams that shifted once becoming bulimic or having an eating disorder, I highly recommend connecting with Benjamin. To those who just decide to listen, I am asking you to please support his animal rescue home by providing even a dollar towards his and his wife's upkeep of animals in need. I know the feeling All my animals are. Benjamin will be back as we both speak together as a team on how dreams and handwriting connect. Both of these are "science" that cannot be proven in absolute, yet can be very accurate to a very interesting degree. Stay tuned. Dr. Kari shares with the audience the reason for writing her book. She also has a program she is offering and a workbook on the way. Bleep Bulimia Episode 85 with Ulrika Karlsson, Author, Intuative Impath, and Soul Coach, on bulimia recovery and triggers

2/20/2023
I so enjoy having Ulrika as a guest. Also known as Ullis Karlsson, Ulrika is an author who is a very spiritual person. Ulrika speaks to health, healing, and eating disorders when it comes to fears and triggers. I find it fascinating how she brings up triggers are important and are a sign of passing. It's important to get used to not be comfortable to keep being healthy and free. On February 11th it was my 12th anniversary of being recovered, and we spoke to the fact that I didn't let it trigger me to go back to what was "comfort" in my bulimia and made me realize I truly was recovered. Holy F*ck and Sacred Water is one of Ulrika's first books and was mentioned to be the book of the year by the readers. Since then she has authored The Sacred Soul and written a chapter in the book The Potent Power of Menopause. There is a lot of interesting information about these books in this episode and the fire element inside of us who struggle with eating disorders. The energy we use up and burning up the water within us. How we end up with less energy. And even to that the sexuality is quite often affected. Please listen to this full episode to really hear the balance between the female and the male in us. And to the menopause, it was interesting because we spoke to the fact both men and women go through this and that it is time to "pause". We even touch on Government (controlling people). I asked Ulrika why she was Ullis prior, knowing her real name. She said Ullis was her nickname and she worked to reclaim what her real name means: The Magnificent. You can contact Ulrika at www.ulliskarlsson.com. If you would like to purchase her books, please contact her directly. If you do want a signed copy, you can, however, shipping charges would be extra. Bleep Bulimia Episode 81 with Anissa Hudak Founder of the Trauma Healing Yoga Therapy Program

9/26/2022
Anissa said she began taking yoga lessons. She had no intention of teaching. Anissa lived in a large active Military community. She decided to support the community and realized she had to start by helping herself. Trauma was not a stranger in Anissa's life. She says she knows it intimately. Among the traumas, she is a bereaved mother and a two-time rape survivor. She says today her mat is her best friend, her confidant. Anissa's healing programs deal with working PTSD out of the body. She says you have to treat the whole person. She explains that this kind of yoga therapy is not for anyone. There are different types of yoga. There are therapeutic yogas, and these are specialized. Anissa's is specific to PTSD. People with PTSD either live in the future or in the past. The goal is to have them live in the present. To the eating disorder, Anissa says it is abuse and addictive behaviour, and typically they arise from trauma, be it several small traumas, or large ones. You can find out more about Anissa and her programs by going to https://api.22apps.com/shareurl/2aeeee96-788d-4a65-afdb-0b3ebf69ddd2 on your phone. It is an app. Anissa's biography: My life has been intertwined with PTSD/Trauma and the military. Not only am I the daughter of a Vietnam Veteran, I was also married to an active duty member (and Iraq/Afghanistan Veteran) for over 20 years. For 3 years, I volunteered at the Warrior Transition Battalion at Fort Riley, Kansas providing yoga therapy, meditation, and other holistic treatments to the soldiers, family members, and staff. After seeing others struggle, and having my own personal struggles with trauma/PTSD, I was inspired to create the Trauma Healing Yoga Therapy Program. As a Yoga Therapist and founder of the Trauma Healing Yoga Therapy Program, I guide others in the use of effective, science-based yoga therapy and other holistic techniques for the management/healing of symptoms relating to PTSD and trauma for people who want to control their PTSD - not allow it to control them. Recently, I have focused my efforts on working with women who have been sexually traumatized to help them heal their PTSD (and other trauma-related issues) with yoga therapy. As a 2x rape survivor, I intimately understand the needs these women face and help them navigate their healing journeys. I earned my 200 RYT, 500 RYT and was awarded my Certification in Yoga Therapy from the International Association of Yoga Therapy. Additionally, I have completed a 120 Hour YogaFit Warriors training and the MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) online course through the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Currently a student with the Phoenix Rising School of Yoga Therapy, I'm learning another approach to utilizing yoga to help release trauma from the body. I work with people with all types of physical conditions, however, I specialize in working with those suffering from PTSD, TBI’s, and all trauma-related issues and have been for over the past 5 years. Bleep Bulimia Episode 80 with Alison Rothman Founder of Embody My Life - Sharing Her Story of Recovery

9/26/2022
Beautiful episode with Alison who shares about her eating disorder and her journey to recovery. What an amazing story about using holistic practices to heal. As I often say, this podcast is about finding the RIGHT solution for YOU. Alison's story is one that speaks to using our life experiences to heal and recover. Alison speaks to the combination of how this holistic yoga, meditation, walking, art and group, nutrition therapy... and more. It was accessing yourself from so many angles. I love that. Alison wrote an article about addiction recovery and wrote about being a "recovered addict" and was called on that by someone. The person's vision was "once an addict always an addict", and Alison disagrees. I agree with Alison. Recovery is achievable when it comes to eating disorders. I truly am always grateful for my guests who share their stories about their own journeys, and I do hope that my listeners feel the same. "Allow this eating disorder to release its grip on us..." What powerful words. And OH MY GOSH being weighed at a young age and being tall? I could relate so much! Stories Alison shared that were so parallel. Bleep Bulimia Episode 76 with Josie Warren Chronic Illness Expert and On Recovering from Her Eating Disorder

8/21/2022
Josie Warren and I discussed her work, and why she became a Chronic Illness Expert. Part of that was overcoming her own struggle with bulimia, which she is now recovered 7 years from. Josie says she thought she would be a lifetime bulimic and is happy to have learned that she could indeed overcome it. Josie started her bulimia at about 12 in 7th grade, and in high school, it became more regular, three to seven times a day, daily for well over a decade. Josie came from a family of bulimics and eating disorders. There was a time that she would have said it was because of her family and she was fated to be bulimic. She changed her mindset saying she was the one who chose bulimia. Bulimia is not visible. It is a secret to the one who is bulimic. "I could hide it behind a closed door," says Josie. We chatted about how we thought other people thought about us was really about how we really felt about ourselves. What inspired Josie to seek recovery? Her deteriorating health condition was the reason. The avenues of therapy were not working. Someone suggested connecting with A New Life Center in Colorado. She went in for her auto-immune issues and chronic illnesses. She was accepted into their program and found out that chronic stress was the reason for her illnesses.
