In this episode, Leixi and Jodi talk about how to find a harmonious balance of feminine and masculine energy. Of course, and as always, there is the mother/daughter banter to be expected, but in the end, they agree that it's a forever task, even as we age to find the perfect balance. After all, it's not about perfection, but progress as we continuously evolve and grow....at any age and any stage of life.

Do We Become More Confident As We Age?

10/11/2023
In this episode, Jodi and Lexi discuss how levels of confidence change though the ages. It’s assumed that the older you get, the more confident you become but that’s not necessarily true. Research indicates that once you hit 60, confidence may decline based on life changes in one’s life. Some people experience feeling lonelier, low sense of worth( who needs us anymore! The kids are grown now what do we do?) It might also be a time to start anew! Jodi and Lexi get into a lively conversation about this topic. It’s a lot of fun!

Why Fit Is The New Sexy When You're Getting Old...er.

8/9/2023
In this episode, Jodi and Lexi talk about why getting fit before getting too old is important, when to start working out and why lifting weights will NOT make you look like a man. Trust me. With over 34 years of experience, Jodi knows how to help women of all ages feel their best AKA feeling sexy in their skin ( whether women want to admit it or not). The earlier you begin developing healthy habits, the better off you will be in preventing osteoporosis, heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure and more. In addition, living healthy helps with depression and anxiety because when you work out, you release those feel good endorphins, the body's natural pain relievers and mood boosters. They are released naturally during pleasurable activities like exercise, sex and laughing.

It Gets Better With Age x Kontent Kim

7/26/2023
In today's episode, I was joined by Kim Hodges, AKA Mother Knows Best from Barstool Sports. We dump it all in here today from being a stay at home Mom, raising kids while the husband works all day, feelings about the period of our lives, empty nester syndrome and Menopause. Sometimes becoming an empty-nester happens while you're going through menopause and trust us, its a big time shit show! Mood swings, hot flashes, night sweats and brain fog just to name a few! We also spent a lot of time talking about life after Menopause, also known as Post- Menopause. We both share our experiences of how our bodies change, more confidence about many things, less tolerance BS and weeding out the things and people we don't want to be around anymore. We are super honest here and we laugh about how we miss the cat calls, but in the end, we agreed that aging has its ups and downs and we are happy just where we are. It's about finding peace and contentment with ourselves and not needing things like the cat calls lol, but it would be fun to hear one every once in awhile :)

Is There A "Right" Time To Start?

7/19/2023
In this episode, Lexi and talk about how our appearance changes as we age and when is it really the right time to start botox, fillers, etc. and when is 'too much too much ?' If you take it too far, it sometimes makes you appear older, and not younger. There is something beautiful about waiting a little until it's really time and not rush into it. From my perspective, I've seen younger women in their 20's and early 30's start with the filler when they don't need it. Want to know why? Because they don't need it!!!!!! Our body begins to lose collagen at 30. Our attitude is the same- don't start too early, and when you do, go slow. You're only going to be this age once, so enjoy it !!!
