This week, listen to the inspiring story of the White family! Two years ago, Terra, her husband Josh, and their two sons, Lucas and Levi, took off from California on a pioneer-type quest to travel by horseback all the way east to the Atlantic Ocean! What started as a homeschool project with the goal to bond as a family and to make men out of their boys has turned into quite an adventure. They stopped in Pawhuska to rest a bit on their way, so be sure and tune in to hear their story!

This week, the boys visit with long-time rodeo announcer, Jim Thompson, from South Dakota. Jim announced the very first PRCA circuit finals. Jim has also worked the college national finals, high school state finals, the Indian National finals, and was part of the NFR broadcast team in 1986. Often referred to as the voice of steer roping, listen in as Jim reflects on his brilliant career!

This week, Cody and Jimbo visit with 9-time NFR bull rider, Randy Majers. Randy finished runner up to the world title twice, including in 1977 when he participated in the only ride-off in PRCA history to determine a world's championship. You won't want to miss Randy's stories!

This week, the boys visit with singer, musician, band leader, and recent Texas Rodeo Cowboy Hall of Fame inductee, Jake Hooker. Jake will be playing the dance after the WRCA Ranc Rodeo on June 15th of Ben Johnson Days weekend in Pawhuska, Oklahoma! Jake is a great ambassador for old-style country music, rodeo, and the wester way of life we all love! Don't miss this one!

This week, Cody and Jimbo visit with Rob Smets, who is possibly the most decorated rodeo clown/bullfighter in the business. He worked the National Finals Rodeo 6 times, the PBR World Finals 8 times, and won the coveted Wrangler Bullfighting Championship a record of 5 times! Do not miss this one!

This week, the boys talk to Gillette, Wyoming legend Glen Barlow. Glen qualified for the National Finals Steer Roping three times. He's also a Snaffle Bit Futurity winner and cutting horse champion. Listen in for some great insights from an impressive, well respected cowboy.

This week, the boys visit with 10-time NFR bull rider, Denny Flynn. He won the National Finals Average 3 times by extremely close margins and finished third in the world 3 times. Denny Flynn is generally regarded as one of the greatest bull riders to ever get on a bull! Don't miss this one!!

This week, the boys visit with acclaimed western silversmith, Beau Compton of Tombstone, Arizona. Beau is a member of the prestigious Traditional Cowboy Arts Association. He talks about his famous silverwork, but also how thankful he is to be raising his family on a ranch and living the western way of life. We think you’ll enjoy this one!

Listen in this week as Cody and guest-host, Hank Hainzinger, visit with Joe Glazier and Sonya Abercrombie. Joe is a historian on the famous 101 Ranch, and Sonya is the curator of both the 101 Ranch Collection as well as the Marland Mansion. This week, Cody and Jimbo talk to Butch Morgan. Butch is a former trick rider, NFR steer roper, entrepreneur, Western Horseman Magazine executive, and an all-around great westerner. You won't want to miss this one!

Cody and Jimbo sit down with one of the greatest tie-down ropers, Olin Young. But most people may not know that he also won two world titles in steer roping. A superb all-around athlete, Young approached everything he did with the skill and technique of a craftsman, even when he was building corrals. Most of Young’s competitors believe he would have won several more championships had he traveled more on ProRodeo’s steer roping circuit. Also, in 1971, Young became the first to win four aggregate titles in tie-down roping at the National Finals Rodeo, which has since been matched by Joe Beaver (1996), Roy Cooper (1999) and Fred Whitfield (2002). He was New Mexico’s Athlete of the Year in 1970. He was born Sept. 11, 1936, in Lovington, N.M. New episodes released every Thursday!

Listen in as we visit with father and son duo, Jake and J Paul Williams. Jake was one of the top bull riders in the 1950's, while his son, J Paul, was one of the top steer ropers of the 1990's and 2000's. This is one of our favorite episodes that we have recorded to date. We recorded this a while back, and since then, Jake has passed on to greener pastures. We are resharing this episode because it is a favorite, and to keep Jake's memory alive.

Listen in as Cody and Jimbo visit with John Miller, World Champion team roper in 1970 and 1971. He is the grandson of Ben Johnson, Sr., and the nephew of Ben "Son" Johnson, Jr. John was inducted into the National Cowboy Hall of Fame in 2009.

Listen in as Cody and Jimbo visit with Pake McEntire: country music singer, steer roper, cattle rancher, and older brother of Reba McEntire. The McEntire's come from a long line of rodeo cowboys! Pake tells us all about his time on the country music trail, the rodeo trail, and many other great stories!!

This week the boys visit with James Coldren, of JC Cow Horn Buckles and master rawhide braider and TCAA Member, Jay Adcock. James uses Watusi horns to make some of the most beautiful and unique buckles in the western industry. He also shares a special story with us of when he cut off his entire left hand in a shop accident. He tells how is wife insisted on retrieving his severed hand, even though he was going to leave it behind while heading to the hospital. Listen in to hear how this amazing story of survival ends!

This week the boys talk to Jay Linderman. Jay was an accomplished steer restler himself, and his dad was 9-time NFR bulldogger, Walt Linderman. He's also a great newhew of all-time rodeo greats and Hall of Famers, Bud and Bill Linderman. There's not a more iconic name in all of rodeo tha Linderman, and Jay tells all the sories and knows all this history of this amazing family. Don't miss this one!

This week, Cody and Jimbo visit with master spur maker, Mike Emberson. Mike grew up in Nowata, Oklahoma, where he discovered his passion. Now he makes some of the finest custom spurts in the United States. Listen in as he tells us when he got started, how he makes the spurs, and who helped him along the way.
