Restaurants are not having it! In recent days, several articles have come out about extra fees some restaurants have started charging for bad behavior.

Earlier this year, a restaurant in NJ instituted a new policy to restrict children under 10. Nettie’s House of Spaghetti in Tinton Falls, NJ implemented this policy in March. One of my most popular episodes is Episode 3: Should children be allowed in places traditionally marketed to adults. In that episode I talked about kids at spas, breweries and bars. And the consensus of the childfree community is NO, they should not be in spaces that would be considered adults only. In this instance it’s a restaurant that previously welcomed all children but changed their policy to restrict children under 10. Needless to say, parents were not happy.

After a hiatus, the Mom of None podcast is back with a brand new season, and in this episode, I talk about a hot topic for childfree couples: babysitting. What happens when one partner agrees to babysit a young family member, and the other sees it as a threat to their decision not to have children?

Since my episode on advocating for yourself at the GYN was so popular, I'm back with stories of women who have been successful in getting permanent birth control.

If I thought it was the best decision for me, I would. You always have the power of choice and it's your choice to change your mind and live the life you've created for yourself to the fullest.

Vivica A Fox was asked if she would consider adoption because she doesn't have children of her own. Well, this set off a firestorm and once again, being childfree is questioned as a realistic choice for women.
