The title of “Dad” is one of the most demanding out there. It means people depending on you to perform and provide every day. No calling in sick or taking days off. However, that doesn’t mean that you have to sacrifice your own life in order to provide. It’s our goal to show that being true to yourself and going after your own goals will not only make you more fulfilled in life but also become a better father, husband, and person for those around you.

#94 | Covid Caught Us

1/12/2022
We made it through the holidays in one piece. Took a couple weeks off to enjoy time with the family, and also to focus on a major decision i was faced with. I will touch more on that in a future episode. But i hope everyone had a great christmas, and new year. We welcomed two mini horses into the Naylor Household, and they have quickly become part of the family. Ryder has really taken to them and is a big help with taking care of them. Besides that todays episode is a quick catch up and i go over some big events that took pace over the holidays. #91 | Set Your Goals And Crush Life

11/17/2021
Its hard to accept, but 2021 is almost over. Time goes by faster as you grow older, but once you have children time goes by in a blink of an eye. My daughters are growing up and every day they are becoming more of who they are meant to be. I recently went on a family trip and it got me thinking about what i want 2022 to look like. I always have been one to set certain goals for myself and this year is no different. But today i ask what are your goals? its a short episode on what you may want to do these next couple months before the new year hits. #90 | You Better Talk To Your wife First

11/10/2021
Welcome back to the Dad-Cast. After a brief summary of my last two weeks and how our halloween was i get into todays subject. Communication! No relationship can work without it, and it definitely make sit very difficult to raise a family without it. I have been very fortunate and blessed in my life to have a wife that is easy to talk to and has a lost of the same values?morals that i have. Its not hard to live life as a couple without kids. You can basically do whatever you want whenever you want to do it. You can travel and shop and eat out regularly. However things really change when you have children. Politics never really had any bearing on my life before kids, but now that i am a father to two girls, every little thing makes me think of how it will affect my girls. Hannah and I have talks almost daily about our future, and how we want to raise our family. Some topics are easy, and others can be very difficult. But in order for us to survive and be good parents we need to have them and be honest about it no matter what feeling might be hurt at the time. So i urge everyone to talk to your husband/wife/partner and have those hard talks. You will be so much happier in the end. I hope you enjoy the episode and don’t forget to refer a friend and leave your rating and review. #89 | Time To Fight For Freedom

10/20/2021
Im back with a solocast this week. Corey has a few other projects going on that are demanding his time so i am here to spread some love. Today is a very short and sweet message. its time to get loud. We have come to a point in our country that is very scary, and making the future very unsure. Ive been thing a lot lately about my family, our safety, and our freedom. Wondering what i can do to serve my community, and stand up for what i believe in. I laid out three very simple tasks that i think if we all start doing it will move us in the direction of ending these unconstitutional mandates, and laws. First is just saying no, no to masks, vaccine passports, and companies who push these rules. Second for those with kids in school, start being proactive about their education. Go to the PTA meetings, ready the books they are reading, make sure it aligns with your values. And third is be active in the community. Look online line when your city council meets, or when you have a town meeting. if able to run for office, even in your own neighborhood. We can no longer be silent if we want change, we must stand up. We hope you enjoy the episode and don’t forget to refer a friend and leave your rating and review. #88 | Time To Stand Uo For Your Children's Future

10/6/2021
Parents!! Now is the time to stand up! I don’t think its any secret to anyone that the government its really overstepping their boundaries lately. And like me I’m sure many of you out there are okay with being put out, but when it comes to my children i have a zero tolerance policy. These last couple weeks our home state of California has released some new bills that directly deal with our children. They are coming after public, charter, and private schools. My daughter is not in school yet, but over the next year i will have to start deciding what direction she will be going. And tonights episode is a direct message to all parents that we need to stand up against things that go against our morals and values. We are at a very crucial time in our lives and the decisions we make today with shape our children future. Corey and I both are willing to be a little uncomfortable to take a stand and hope you will do the same, and i know that once you do you will realize how many people are going to stand with you. Never Back down and remember it is for our children future we stand against unjust rules. We hope you enjoy the episode and don’t forget to refer a friend and leave your rating and review. #87 | Stop Hating and Start Loving

9/29/2021
Oh man do we have a hard hitting episode today. Corey and I have been off the podcasting for a couple weeks, and it is because we were both at a point of exhaustion with our life it was actually physically affecting us. So we decided to take some time to rest and and enjoy some much needed family time. But today we are back and getting right into so hard hitting and political topics. we talk about current events, our views on emergency preparedness and just life in general. One thing that is missing from the world right now is Love and Compassion. We really send some time on this topic tonight and share a few personal stories about what we do in our every day lives. And we eave you on a final statement of treat people with the same love and respect that you yourself want to be treated with! #86 | Shut Up And Listen

9/8/2021
Parenting is not an easy job. There is a reason there aren’t manuals for this. Every child is different and every household has their own values and ideals. One of the simplest, yet hardest, tasks is listening to your children. Especially at a young age its easy to just dismiss them and what they are saying. But when those thoughts com into your head try and empathize with them. Try and think what it feels like when someone doesn’t listen to you, or someone tells you to be quiet. Our children aren’t alway able to tell us their feelings, so we have to do even more to listen and really pay attention to hat they are trying to tell us. As we discuss very frequently on this podcast, you need to sacrifice for your kids, and not the other way around. Listen to your children, and pay attention to what they are saying, and show up daily. We hope you enjoy the episode and don’t forget to refer a friend and leave your rating and review. #85 | Children Will Tell You When They Are Ready

9/2/2021
Welcome back to the Dad-Cast. Life with children is always busy, but every time you add more it gets even crazier. We start today but talking a little about our lives with new babies and trying to balance our time between all our children. Sometimes the guilt sets in because the new babies require so much more of our time, but it doesn’t mean you give up. I talk about how i have a new nighttime routine with Ryder so that way we can still have quality time together and i can still give attention to Sway. Corey also shares some of his strategies of parenting three kids and how his time is spent. We talk about how things are “Supposed” to happen and how it really is. Today our main topic of conversation was not listening to how its supposed to be, but listening to your child and moving when they are ready for it. Its important to let you children develop and become their own person, and thats were we help guide them. Its not our job to force them before they are ready, but to be there to help push when that day finally comes. Listen to you children, and pay attention to what they are saying, and showing you daily. We hope you enjoy the episode and don’t forget to refer a friend and leave your rating and review. #84 | Only Fans Is Easy Money

8/18/2021
Wow! Today we definitely took a wild turn in our conversation. What started out a conversation about skydiving turned ion a full dive into the porn industry and Only Fans. Not in the way you may think though. We were talking about working and earning money and how some may see certain industries as “Easy Money.” Im sure that everyone has heard of only fans at this point in time, and not knowing much about it we talked about those who chose to put their body on display. But talking about how it may look like easy money, but it still takes a lot of work, and there is always a price to pay. But being a dad to 2 daughters it occurs to me that at some point in time my girls are going to have to make decisions about jobs and making money, and i won’t be there to make it with them. We started talking about how to best guide your children and the most important, in our eyes, thing you can do to help guide your children in the world. It sounds simple, but the single most important thing you can do is be there for your children. Not just physically, but playing teaching, reading, being there mentally and devoting your attention to them every day. a very fun and different conversation for us, but the message is always there. We hope you enjoy the episode and don’t forget to refer a friend and leave your rating and review. #83 | Infants & Team No Sleep

8/11/2021

I had to take some time off but feeling much better today and finally back recording. Today was a catch up day with us and how life has been with infants. We discuss our bodies and how important it is to take care of ourselves both physically and mentally. We also give some updates on our newest daughters and how life is going with them. We really jumped around this episode, but in the end it really was about raising our fmily and doing what we can to not make excuses. #80 | Are We Ready To Have A Baby

6/23/2021
How is everyone doing? We took a week off last week due to life demands but are back again this week. Today we catch up a little bit and talk about the upcoming births of both of our daughters. We are both just weeks away from having our newest members added to the family and we are both very excited. We also cover regression in our children. Right now my daughter is going through a bad sleep regression. Having a very hard time falling asleep and then waking up multiple times a night every night of the week. It may seem bad, or like you are doing something wrong, but this is part of a child’s normal development. It may be hard, and it is for me some days, but we have to tell ourselves its only temporary and it will end. Its all part of the journey of being parents. Today also marks the start of a new mini series that we are bringing to every episode. We will be talking about Dad stuff for a little bit every episode. For our first episode what better topic than Beer. Most of us like to have a cold beer after a long day and Corey and I talk about a couple of our favorites, with a twist. You’ll have to let us know what you think about this new mini series we are doing. We hope you really enjoy todays episode. Please keep the questions and comments coming. #79 | Gender Roles Are Important To Your Family

6/9/2021
This week we bring another topic that some may consider controversial. We are talking gender roles today. This is something we both believe in and also believe that they play a very important role in the family. Were not trying to argue if cooking and cleaning is the “Womans” job or not. We actually believe that the husband and wife should be working as a team on the house and the chores involved, but we are talking about what the actual teaching that a mom and dad can give that the other cannot. Sometimes life isn’t fair and a parent has to play both roles, but if it can be helped we believe that having both a man and woman in the house are the most beneficial aspects to a young childs life. We spend our time today going over what we feel and the biggest reasons why gender roles in the family are so important. We hope you really enjoy todays episode. Please keep the questions and comments coming. We love hearing from you all and look forward to answering more of you in the future. #78 | Having "The Talk" With Your Child

6/2/2021
We know that raising a family can be very challenging at times. You go through the highs and lows, happy times and sad times. Part of that is also helping guide your children through life and all its challenges. One of those may be having a very serious talk about sex, identity, and everything in between. To keep it simple there is not clear cut path to take. we discuss a very hard topic, and do our best to navigate how we would react if our kids were to bring it up to us. We hope you really enjoy todays episode. Please keep the questions and comments coming. We love hearing from you all and look forward to answering more of you in the future. 5/26/2021
This weekend Corey and I talk about a very big milestone in your kids life. Potty Training! Hannah and I took the whole weekend off and decided to potty train Ryder. You will hear in this episode how it went and the good, the bad, and the ugly of it. Its no easy task, but in the end it was very rewarding. Once you become a parent you really realize what it means to celebrate the small victories. From first words, to walking, to using the potty for the first time. We had a long weekend and are excited to share our story. We also talk about some life lessons that we want to pass along to our children as well. Nothing too deep, but we talk about passion, money and life in general. We hope you really enjoy todays episode. Please keep the questions and comments coming. #76 | What Is Your Relationship With Food

5/19/2021
We all eat food every single day, and often without thinking much about it. But what does that show our children? Today we discuss our relationship with food. We all know what we “should and shouldn’t” eat, but do we actually live it and teach our family the importance of having a healthy relationship with food. We don’t just mean eating healthy foo, and staying away from processed food, but how we view food. at its purest form food is our fuel, but it can also be a coping, or comfort for us as well. Seems like we should all be experts by the time we are parents, but until i was a father i never though much of it. Today we share our views on food, and some of the tools we use with our families. Please keep the questions and comments coming. We love hearing from you all and look forward to answering more of you in the future. We hope you enjoy the episode and don’t forget to refer a friend and leave your rating and review.
