Ghosts! & Talks’ Tales of the Supernatural!

10/27/2021
Ghosts! And TITT Talks’ Tales of the Supernatural! Just in time for Halloween! We’ve gathered around our imaginary spooky fire to share our own personal “ghost” stories - none of which can be explained by any rhyme, reason, or scientific data. But, if you are afraid of the dark or tales of spirits unknown, fear not! Contrary to what we thought when we were young babies, many of our experiences with the supernatural are quite beautiful and have strengthened our bonds with loved ones, whether they are still here on Earth with us or whether they are looking down upon us with love from above. We hope you enjoy this very special episode, and we hope to hear some of your tales too! About TITT TALKS TITT Talks was “conceived” in January of 2020 during one of TITT’s many friend/family (“framily”) get-togethers. In conversation, it came to light that there was a lack of representation of womxn like TITT in, among other forms of media, the podcast world. In particular, there was no podcast that TITT could subscribe to that would enable them to feel seen, heard, or understood as modern Asian Pacific American working mothers. The womxn of TITT Talks knew that this void was one they could fill by sharing their voices and experiences through their casual conversations, which were already taking place on a routine basis. Thank you for the positive feedback we have received since our launch in early June of 2020. We are delighted to hear that we are bringing you content that you can finally relate to as mothers, professionals, millennials, and Asian Pacific Americans. To our listeners of this special How SHE Built This series, our mission has always been to connect with other modern womxn through the lens of our own experiences so we thought this series would be a perfect fit. We have inadvertently jumped on this journey of growing our own business as entrepreneurs and thought these conversations would not only be empowering, inspiring and refreshing for us, but for our listeners as well. ____________________________________________ CONNECT WITH US Sign up for our NEWSLETTER – TITT Talks Tea IG: titt_talks FACEBOOK: TITT Talks E-MAIL: TITTtalks@gmail.com YOUTUBE: TITT Talks Podcast ____________________________________________ WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU What topics would you like to hear discussed on the show? The TITT-Tea: Social Media Effects on us and our children

10/14/2021
Hey everyone! It’s Isa! I am your host for this mini segment where we check in with each other on what is going on in the world, what’s the TITT Tea? This will cover the things you are most likely talking with your girlfriends about and can span any subject. Today we are talking about the Facebook/Instagram Outage, the impacts of social media in general on us and our kids, and if Facebook/Instagram execs are putting profits over people. This episode was inspired by The Daily podcast, The Wall Street Journal, NPR and various articles on the subject. This was a little spur of the moment, so if you hear a random phone call in the background, or even a little echo at the end... hey we are working moms and this is what we do best! Multi-task. Take a little mid-day break with us, and let's talk about it! ____________________________________________ ABOUT TITT TALKS TITT Talks was “conceived” in January of 2020 during one of TITT’s many friend/family (“framily”) get-togethers. How SHE Built This: Ladies Of Sound

10/1/2021
Join us for another episode of TITT Talks: How She Built This! This week, we are featuring Ladies Of Sound (@ladiesofsound.la) founders Maricel Sison (@msison) and Samantha Garong (@sammi.g_). This spin-off series is meant to intimately discuss the journey of building a business as a female entrepreneur. These types of conversations inspire us and we hope they do the same for you as well. For the first time in the HSBT series all four TITTS sit down in the Ladies of Sound headquarters with Maricel and Sammi as they simultaneously produce this special episode and take us through their experience on how they found a passion for music and throwing events, which led them on a path to creating space and a community for women in the music industry. Ladies of Sound is the official women's division of the Beat Junkies Institute of Sound. Their platform is made to support women in the DJ and music industry. Utilizing their talents, they have worked through challenges, have had some big wins, pandemic pivots and talk about all of these experiences with TITT Talks. In an otherwise male dominated world, Ladies of Sound has worked from an 8% enrollment of women in the Beat Junkies Institute of Sound classes to 56% as of 2021. Listen in to hear more about their inspiring story as minority women entrepreneurs creating opportunities for other women and inspiring a future generation of women in music. It has always been our mission to connect with other modern women through the lens of our experience. We hope you enjoy this series as much as we do! Birth Stories : Births are all different and that’s OK. Let’s relive the pain and magic together.

9/15/2021
One of the best parts of having a painful and memorable birth is the ability to share it with your girlfriends in all its gruesome splendor. From watching your partner peacefully sleep while you’re in Hell during your contractions to the “ring of fire” many women experience, there is relief - and even entertainment - in reminiscing together. Before the labor, after the labor, we cover it all, with LOTS of “we wish we knews” thrown in. Births are all different and that’s the magic of it. Let’s relive the pain and miracles together. How SHE Built This: Lisa Tran of Tan Tan Foods

3/25/2021
For this How She Built This episode, it is our honor to present to you . . . Lisa Tran! First, for us, our recent friendship with Lisa is the embodiment of the benefits of networking. TLo met Lisa on Clubhouse, and TLo subsequently introduced us all to Lisa. We have become enamored with not only Lisa, but we have also become enamored with her story, her family, and her family’s story. In this episode of HSBT, Lisa regales Chuk with her journey of turning vision into action by developing Tan Tan Foods sauce line, which she did with the goal of being able to generate consistent income while also being able to spend substantial mommy time with her precious twins. Lisa also discusses how Tan Tan’s sauces were created with her mother’s recipes and gained popularity amongst the customers of her family’s restaurant – Tan Tan Café & Delicatessen! More importantly, Lisa shares her own story of being born as a Vietnamese refugee in Indonesia, how her mother refined her sauce-making skills in the same refugee camp, and her parents’ love story that was borne during their escape from Vietnam – all of which laid the foundation for Lisa to create Tan Tan’s sauce empire and to introduce the wonder of her mom’s Vietnamese recipes to the American general public. (Tan Tan’s sauces are carried in major grocery store chains like New Seasons Markets, H Mart, and coming soon to Safeway/Albertsons – she is kind of a big deal.) We could go on and on, but you should really just listen to the episode! We cannot wait for you to learn more about Lisa! Find her at @tantanfoods and tantancafedeli.com. You can also learn more about her in her features in @entrepreneur and @bonappetit magazines! ____________________________________________ CONNECT WITH US IG: titt_talks FACEBOOK: TITT Talks E-MAIL: titt.talks@gmail.com YOUTUBE: TITT Talks Podcast

Bitty Bao is a collection of Chinese Bilingual Board books that are a wonderful resource to opening your children’s eyes to the diversity in this world. Their story, in their words: “A random 11pm text from Lulu lit up Lacey’s phone one December evening. It read, “So crazy thought, I want to write children’s bilingual Chinese books. Starting to form ideas and such, a series - like the Spanish series you follow. @lillibros - they’re inspiring! What are your thoughts on this? Too crazy? Totally feasible? Want to be my illustrator? Let’s do crazy together!” Who sends an 11pm text asking someone out of the blue to make a book series with them? But more importantly, who says yes to such an endeavor under those circumstances? Lulu and Lacey do. And so began our journey. We look forward to showing you highlights of our labor-of-love book making process, road to publishing, and all the fun we have along the way. (Mostly in the middle of the night after all our bitty babes are in bed and our houses are finally quiet!) We are so proud to announce our book series (in its infancy), #BittyBao - bitty books for bitty babes! Join us as TLo takes you behinds the scenes as LuLu and Lacey tell their story about how they built their business (the ups and the downs) and how they are continuing to evolve and grow, all while being Mamas. It has always been our mission to connect with other modern womxn through the lens of our experience. We hope you enjoy this new series as much as we do! ____________________________________________ ABOUT TITT TALKS TITT Talks was “conceived” in January of 2020 during one of TITT’s many friend/family (“framily”) get-togethers. Thank you for the positive feedback we have received since our launch in early June 2020. We are delighted to hear that we are bringing you content that you can finally relate to as mothers, professionals, millennials, and Asian Pacific Americans. Legacy Stories - In Memory of TLo's Grandma - Rest in Paradise

2/10/2021
Welcome back to another episode of TITT Talks! You’re joining us on a very special week for 3/4s of TITT Talks. It’s Lunar New Year also known as Chinese New Year to the Tiffanys. In spirit of this culturally relevant holiday, get ready for part one of the wonderful idea Isa had – Legacy Stories. In these episodes, we’ll each have the opportunity to honor our family history – stories that deserve to be told. Stories preserve culture and pass on family history and tradition from one generation to another. In essence, stories keep cultures alive. In them, we learn much about ourselves and those that came before us. These stories deserve a platform to be showcased. If we don’t do it, who will? In this series, we’ll be paying respect and honoring our families. Join us and learn part of our history as we each share individual legacy stories of our own families. Today, TLo is your host and she will be paying honor and tribute to her PoPo (maternal Grandmother) who passed on New Year’s Day (2021). Rest in paradise, PoPo. ____________________________________________ ABOUT TITT TALKS TITT Talks was “conceived” in January of 2020 during one of TITT’s many friend/family (“framily”) get-togethers. 1/27/2021
In today’s society, every single action that a womxn takes, can and will be sexualized. So why shouldn’t we take control of our sexuality? As womxn and moms with Asian American and Pacific Islander backgrounds, we are kicking off Season 3 by breaking the cultural taboo around sex and Taking Our Sexy Back! We hope to empower you and ourselves to own your sexuality. To help us along this journey we have brought on Dee Reed of @pompousreed, she is the ultimate boss lady and amazing mom who runs two businesses in beauty and in retail and still finds time to co-host her own podcast, TheBakedZeeDee Show. Take a seat and sip your tea, as the TITTS and Dee drop some gems and play a little question roulette at the end. Follow Dee Reed on Instagram by searching @pompousreed @trilogylash or @bakedzeedeeshow. ____________________________________________ ABOUT TITT TALKS TITT Talks was “conceived” in January of 2020 during one of TITT’s many friend/family (“framily”) get-togethers. Girl Talk

12/21/2020
Hey ladies! Remember a little thing called Girls Night Out? Well, unfortunately, we haven’t been doing a lot of that in 2020 because, you know....pandemic. Well, if you know us, you know our friendship is integral to our survival as womxn and as mothers. Friendships are important in life, they give you encouragement and support, boost your self-esteem, keep you active, and are overall a positive influence. In this new episode, we play a game that’s half truth or dare, and half twenty questions, we have a little fun and dig a little deeper. We also eat our way through the questions with our first Mukbang featuring Wanderlust Ice Cream. You really do not want to miss this! Cheers to a life full of great friends! ____________________________________________ ABOUT TITT TALKS TITT Talks was “conceived” in January of 2020 during one of TITT’s many friend/family (“framily”) get-togethers. Mental Health

12/2/2020
Welcome back to another episode of TITT Talks! Today we are bringing you a round table discussion on Mental Health with special guest, Dr. Jang Cho. Join us for a raw, unfiltered discussion that touches on all facets of being a woman and a mother in this very heavy year that we’ve lived through. We at TITT Talks feel strongly that we would be doing a disservice to our community and women at large by not utilizing our platform to help break down some of the barriers around this highly stigmatized subject. Dr. Jang Cho is a board certified child and adolescent psychiatrist. She received her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed her psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital in New York City and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. Dr. Cho is passionate about treatment, education and advocacy for mental health of Asian Americans and has given talks in various seminars and conferences, both locally and nationally. She is a co-founder and a co-chair for Asian Caucus of American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and a faculty member of the MGH Center for Cross-Cultural Student Emotional Wellness. Dr. Cho also runs her own tele-psychiatry private practice, Cultivate Psychiatry, geared toward serving immigrant families and those with diverse backgrounds, especially Asian Americans. During her down time, Dr. Cho enjoys living in rural Washington state and navigating the challenges of raising her bicultural young daughter. She is also a co-host of Podcast, Korean American Parenting where she shares her journey - both the joy and the tribulation- of motherhood with other Korean American parents. ____________________________________________ ABOUT TITT TALKS TITT Talks was “conceived” in January of 2020 during one of TITT’s many friend/family (“framily”) get-togethers. Mom Guilt

11/18/2020
This week, the ladies of TITT Talks try to solve the omnipresent case of Mom Guilt: Where it comes from, why it happens, and the best way to keep it in moderation so that it doesn’t run our lives. TCha kicks it off with her own experience of how the pandemic has forced her to examine how she prioritizes work/life balance to minimize the guilt she feels on a daily basis. Join us in this safe space as we talk about what mom guilt means to us and how we tackle it with different forms of self-care and reality checks. Whether you're a working mom, stay-at-home-mom, or not even a mom, taking care of yourself should always be a priority.
