As we begin the 12 weeks long sex trauma series, it is imperative that we define what sex trauma is and identify individually each of these events or series of events that traumatize us sexually. Very often, we assume only rape should be categorized as sex trauma. We however will not fault society for that because we've become too familiar with these things to even properly name them for what they are let alone, combat them. As you follow through this series, you will begin to see areas where you have suffered a trauma but didn't even recognize it. This is not to make you feel bad but to equip you to recover from these traumas and have a fantastic sex life. You will always get the opportunity to settle for less. You will always have the opportunity to restructure your environment to bring you closer to the desirable or merely the available - this is where you must utilize the power of choice and not just leave things to chance.

You can be fantastic and no one will know. The assumption is that when you are good, good people come to you but technically that's not how it always works. It's like saying because your product is good, customers will automatically find you with no adverts. People only buy what you sell. When we created the class 'buying and selling point' - it was simply from studying people. Everybody has what they buy and sell romantically. Most people don't know consciously but some people are conscious. What do you think the Playboy does? he sells what he knows that he has. What does the woman who likes younger boys do? She promises to buy what he has to sell. You think she doesn't know what she is doing? She has a target market. The problem is that people who have good character, good habits and who should be in great relationships just assume that just because they are good, good stuff is looking for them. Nope, bad stuff is also looking for them to drain them. You are amazing, you're healing your generational traumas, you're reliable and financially sustainable (add your other credentials).... Well, who knows you're all these things enough to date you or recommend you?

Don't ask us to give you what you can't give yourself. Don't demand things that you don't have the discipline to reach or sustain.

When people are asked why they are single, one major response is "I've not met someone" While that sounds true, it's not really factual because people who fit your bill are always available if you can identify what you want. Let's assume your spec is so rare that only one exists in every one million humans, you still have 8,000 options to choose from. So, is this really a lack of 'who' or an inability to articulate the 'what' you expect from this person?
