In this Pokemon interview, we are joined by ThePokeNetwork, leader of The Back Alley, and a Pokemon Twitch Streamer. ThePokeNetwork starts his Pokemon journey in the Hoenn region where he fell infatuated by the mechanics of catching Pokemon and traveling through the region. His interest with Pokemon would continue through each generation until he found a connection with Dark-type Pokemon. Dark-Type Pokemon are often misunderstood, which helped ThePokeNetwork related to them more, due to how his autism caused people around him to misunderstand him growing up. We give examples of different Dark-type Pokemon and how they were misperceived based on their actions in the Pokemon anime. ThePokeNetwork gives insight into his content creation journey and mental health struggles. ThePokeNetwork building a group of supportive friends, found comfort and solace with some of his fellow creators. However, not all people were there for him during his dark times and ThePokeNetwork shares insight in how that has shaped his life moving forward. In this Pokemon interview, we are joined by GrunesDragon, a Pokemon Trainer and artist with a passion for Dragons and Dragon Pokemon. GrunesDragon Pokemon Journey starts with the anime and Pokemon Y. Due to the restriction of media by their family, GrunesDragon would not be introduced to Pokemon games until Pokemon Y thanks to their friend. GrunesDragon shares insight into the more recent games, specifically Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and how the plot of a group of outcasts appealed to them. GrunesDragon deep affection for animals and this made Pokemon extremely appealing, especially during times of turmoil at home. GrunesDragon also found art as a way for them to provide an escape and would pursue this interest in different artistic ways. In this Pokemon interview, we are joined by Pixeladdy, a Pokemon Trainer and anime-inspired pixel artist based out of Toronto. Pixeladdy share his first experience with Pokemon starting with the anime and Pokemon Trading Cards. He and his brother would collect the cards adn would watch the anime on television. Pixeladdy would return to collecting cards after watching certain content creators and social media influencers open Pokemon card packs. Pixeladdy would start his journey collecting Pokemon cards and even start an early Instagram account showing off both rare Pokemon cards and pack openings. Pixeladdy finally dives into his journey running his own business selling pixel art. I Do The Felting starts her journey with being introduced to Pokemon Red. However, she discovered she had little interest in the main series games and preferred the spin-off games such as Pokemon Snap and Pokemon Pokemon Dungeon. She also shares her interest in the anime and how she appreciated Rachel Lillis's voice for Jessie from Team Rocket. I Do The Felting shares her introduction into Pokemon GO and her love for Shiny Pokemon. She gives insight into her love for Pokemon GO Raids and events that are hosted in the mobile game. Despite her not able to attend and live events, I Do The Felting appreciates feeling connected via remote events and able to engage with the event in her hometown.
