After last week's anti-climactic end to the original X-Men trilogy, we decided to go back to the source material. We're reading The Dark Phoenix Saga to see what could have been. A rare occasion in film where the sequel is better than the original? We certainly think X2 fits the bill. We are back this week with, arguably, the film that kicked off our higher expectations in the Superhero film genre. (2008 took that to new heights, but that's another conversation for another day...)
