Great, More Tapes!

WE'RE BACK. Tim gets a new camera, the boys deduce bullet trajectories, Alex makes a phone call, Tim takes a trip, Jay abandons his boy, Tim takes some medication, and the boys finally decide to trust each other. Also, Pippin and Lea come back from a break.

Tim skips a dose, Jay takes a nighttime stroll in the woods, they both have a quick nap in a shack, and finally, finally, a plan is formed. Also, Pippin and Lea have been playing a LOT of Elden Ring.

Jay and Tim have a midnight meetup, Jay follows another stranger into another tunnel, preexisting conditions are discovered, and hoo boy does Jay really mess this one up. Also, Lea can excuse reckless endangerment, but draws the line at posting medical records online.

Tim films Alex's butt, Alex takes a firm stance on public urination, Tim and Jay go on a date, and upcoming Tim lore is teased. Also, Pippin is upset by Jay's disregard for HIPAA rules and Lea admits her crimes.

We briefly return to the present day before diving back into the past, this time from a new perspective! Jay tries to make a new friend, Tim acts like a normal person, the namesake of the entire podcast is revealed, and guys are dudes. Also, Pippin talks about anime.

We have a season one commentary track for you! As we close out season two of Marble Hornets, Tim leads Jay to the tunnel, Alex and Brian film b-roll in a burned-out building, Jessica follows a stranger into the woods, and Alex has a gun. Pippin and Lea have a lot of questions. What does Jessica know? Why is Jay acting like a manly man all of a sudden? What is Tim's deal? And how come the season doesn't end with Jay laying in bed? Also, Pippin thinks Jay is a bad person.

Jay resorts to drastic measures, Alex and Jay have a disagreement, Jay learns that he and Jessica are being fed different stories, cicadas are heard in the woods, and Alex throws a rock. Also, Pippin finds two separate excuses to talk about how masculinity is portrayed both in this series and in film in general. Also also, JESUS CHRIST. Jay's camera is returned by a helpful stranger, Alex recruits Jay's help for a mystery he's apparently already solved, Tim returns to the narrative with both a new ally (the Hooded Man) and a new friend (a big rock), and Alex acts completely normal during his time alone. Also, we debate what both past and present Jay either has or has not seen, maybe.

Alex Kralie returns to the series as off-putting as ever, the Masked Man is unmasked, spooky stories are told, woods are wandered, the entire totheark situation gets another wrinkle, and the Operator appears. Also, Pippin gets sad about the state of Jay's life.

Jay takes a walk in the woods, lies even worse somehow, loses a new friend, reconnects with an old friend, and finally gets the hell out of this goddam hotel with several dozen tapes in tow. Also, Lea continues to defend her boy, in spite of the mounting evidence.

Season 2 begins! Jay films a documentary with a GoPro, his memory gets even worse, and a woman makes repeat appearances! Also, Pippin won't stop pointing out how Jay must have studied cinematography over our seven-month gap.

Pippin and Lea crack open a case of ice-cold spoilers as we answer listener questions, learn what the hell a script supervisor does, discuss hidden identities, and puzzle over the mind-boggling chronology of the series. Also, we try to figure out what Marble Hornets is actually, you know, about.

Jay turns his back on this whole affair, (and look how well that worked out), arson is committed, homes are abandoned, and mysterious packages are received as our hero begins the next chapter of this journey. Also, Pippin and Lea talk about how much the series means to them, the sentimental fucks.

Jay returns to the red tower for a second time, returns to the house for a third time, and travels to a mysterious basement he's never seen before for the first time, all while totheark and the masked man taunt him, and the reverberations of the events of three years ago explode forward in time into Jay's present life. Also, we get legitimately freaked out for the first time in this series.

Totheark is revealed to our audience, Jay keeps secrets from his audience, the remaining tapes dwindle down, and a new challenger approaches. Also, Pippin forgets what front doors look like and insists he hasn't.

Our skinny gentleman gets a new name, our daring narrator's name is revealed, Pippin continues an ill-advised bit that we can't help but comment on, and the series moves into the present day. Also, Lea and Pippin debate whether Jay lacks experience in social situations, or if he's just dumb.

We discuss how this great ball got rolling, pulling a misunderstood director, his only confidant, and the entire cast and crew of one extremely cursed film production along with it. Also there's a tall guy with no face or something.
