For the first episode of the 90’s kid special we talked about two funny beavers living in a dam in Oregon, the Angry Beavers, created by Mitch Schauer. Angry Beavers ran on Nickelodeon from 1997 to 2001 and they are an icon of the 90’s cartoon culture. Tune in to dig deeper into the creation of this masterpiece, with an exclusive interview with one of its writers; John Derevlany, we learned about its animation style, the messages behind their stories and how the creators had really no idea of the impact it was going to have on an entire generation of 90’s kids.

If you happen to love animation like we do, then you likely got your start with some zany and wild 90s cartoons from the likes of nickelodeon and Cartoon network. Imagine, a room full of 20 something year olds writers and animators creating a world that would be absorbed by millions of children who would spend hours watching and learning all these bizarre jokes and trippy adventures, children that today we call “30yo kids” - the 90’s kids. All 90s kids and wannabe 90s kids are welcome here as the guys jump in to a new series on cartoons of a typical 90s kids childhood. the series starts with an absolute legend in pushing the boundaries of both animation and censors. Tune in for some real fun facts and some real funny guys.

WARNING: Tej and Claire's audio became distorted during recording part of the way in and for that reason the podcast was cut down in length to make listening enjoyable.

Now this is a weird one, folks. The story of a zoo filled with cryptids (mythical monsters/animals) that is destined for tragedy. It's definitely an interesting and artistic film, but it sure is a strange one. Join Kyle and Tej as they give you their thoughts on this artsy feature.

This week the guys continue the Berserk trilogy of films with a title so long we had to abbreviate our show's title. Tej and Kyle discuss the Battle of Doldrey and all the implications surrounding this stellar setup for what is sure to be a satisfying and not at all traumatic third film.

This week the guys watched and talked about a movie that looked really exciting and like it had potential, that fell short by a mile. It's not every movie that Tej and Kyle agree so wholeheartedly. It's a coming of age story that should have focused on coming of age and less on the setting of the character coming to age.
