Hey everyone! This is our season 2 martini episode and our guest this week is cosplay star BabstheBat (AKA: Ashley Fletcher, but don’t tell P. Ivy!) We talk about projects she has worked on including Dallas (reboot), Salem, The Gifted, The Originals and The Vampire Diaries. We then dig deeper into other projects she is working on including her podcast ‘Nerdspresso’ Nerd Trivia Night and the Shakespeare Reading (lottery style!) she does through her production company!

This week we welcome to the show actor, voice over actor, writer, animator, graphic designer, poster designer, website designer, director, producer, a man of many many hats...Bryan McClure! Bryan has worked on projects including ‘Atlanta’, ‘Doom Patrol’, ‘Mindhunter’, ‘Money Plane’, and ‘Space Command’ just to name a few. We talk about some of those projects and also about his latest project which is released this month ‘In Other Words’ with Chris Kattan!

Jack Montague has worked in film for over a decade working on projects like The Walking Dead, The Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man, American Ninja Warrior, Fast 7, Hunger Games and many many more! We chat about working in different production assistant (P.A.) positions and what a ‘second unit’ is for. We also talk about his experiences on set for projects like Zombieland 2, Doctor Sleep and Black Panther. We kick it all off with a tribute to the incredible actor Chadwick Boseman who passed away this last week. #WakandaForever

Allison Maier is our guest this week. She has worked on projects including ‘Frankenstein Created Bikers’, ‘Atlanta Zombie Apocalypse: The Movie’, ‘The Devil To Pay’, ‘Get Over It’, ‘Izzo: B.O.B.A’, and the incredible ‘Spring Break Zombie Massacre’. We dive into her work on some of these projects and also talk about her incredible journey starting as a background artist then to becoming a makeup artist and then all the way up to working as a producer! Measuring in at just 4’11”, AnnaLily East has had several opportunities to work in a niche sector of the film industry as a ‘child’s stand-in’. We discuss different tricks and techniques used for adults to stand-in for children, what it was like working several overnights with cars speeding down the city streets of Atlanta on the film ‘Baby Driver’ and cover a couple of very emotional films for both of us: ‘The Hate U Give’ and ‘Gifted’.

JD Bulla joins us as this weeks guest. He has worked on projects including The Walking Dead, The Fast & The Furious franchise, Hunger Games, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle AND Jumanji: The Next Level, Black Lightning, The Gifted and the upcoming Jungle Cruise! We get to sit down and talk about several of these projects, what it’s like to portray Jesus Christ, and how The Walking Dead not only changed his life but helped propel him on to speaking roles as an actor!

Our guest this week has had a very unique job most people only dream of having in the industry working as a Personal Assistant for the main talent. She has worked on several projects as an assistant and also as a background artist on projects like The Walking Dead, Papa, Hamlet and Hutch, Remnants, Drop Dead Diva, Category 5, An Innocent Kiss and many others! We talk about working as an assistant, what it was like working with an American Icon and a special segment where she tells us how she met up with her favorite singer of all time - Steven Tyler of Aerosmith!

Kevin has worked on numerous projects as a production assistant working his way up to the assistant director position including ‘The 40-Year-Old Virgin‘, ‘The Lone Ranger’, ‘Lemony Snicket’s: A Series Of Unfortunate Events’, ‘Live Free Or Die Hard’, ‘War of the Worlds’ and dozens more! In this episode we talk about some other projects including ‘We Bought A Zoo’, ‘Pirates 4: On Stranger Tides’, ‘Blades of Glory’, ‘Zathura: A Space Adventure’, ‘Dodgeball’ and others!

JennMarie Baker has worked as an actress and background artist on both the east coast and west coast. She has worked on projects including The Good Place, Pretty Little Liars, The Ranch, The Vampire Diaries and 130+ others. We talk about preparing for set, the differences in the industry from one coast to the other, several of the aforementioned projects and her transition to currently working at an Air BnB near the Grand Canyon!

We sit down and talk about her first day ever working as a background artist in the role of Wedding Photographer on the project, ‘Life of the Party’. Season 2’s premier episode opens up with a man of many talents that wears many hats: Garrett H. Dumas! Introducing Rachel Jeanette to The Above Average Joe Show! Rachel has worked on several projects which include 90 Minutes in Heaven, Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk, Allegiant, Nashville and many more! We talk to Rachel about working on ‘Billy Lynn’s Halftime Walk’ as a cheerleader, working with with Darth Vader (Hayden Christensen) in ‘90 Minutes In Heaven’, playing keys on the hit TV show ‘Nashville’ and her work as a singer with newly released Christmas singles that are currently in rotation and getting played across the nation!
