The Stand, released on May 8, 1994, is based on Stephen King's masterpiece and book of the same name. The Stand includes a cast of more than 125 speaking roles and features Gary Sinise, Miguel Ferrer, Rob Lowe, Ossie Davis, Ruby Dee, Jamey Sheridan, Laura San Giacomo, Molly Ringwald, Corin Nemec, Adam Storke, Ray Walston, Ed Harris, and Matt Frewer. The miniseries was shot in several locations and on 225 sets. Mick has written, directed, and produced multiple films over the years and has done it all. His works include The Stand, Hocus Pocus, Sleepwalkers, Critters 2: The Main Course, The Shining, Riding the Bullet, Stephen King's Desperation, Bag of Bones, and more! His career literally 'spanned the globe' from a Marine Top Gun fighter pilot to three stints as a Space Shuttle Pilot and Mission Commander to his current role as Chief Executive Officer for Aerodyne Industries LLC in Cape Canaveral, FL.​ In 2022, Andy was honored by Ernst & Young with Florida’s Entrepreneur of the Year award for the growth and success of Aerodyne Industries. In 2017, he was recognized by the National Space Club Florida Committee with the Space Heroes and Legends Award (formerly known as the Debus Award), Florida’s most prestigious space industry honor.

Dr. Israel Swann stops by The Podcastle! Dr. Swann was featured on Season 9 of “Dr. K’s Exotic Animal ER” on Nat Geo Wild where his passion for medicine and compassion for his patients is evident. Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Swann has volunteered his skills to assist with trap, neuter and release programs designed to control feral cat over-populations to provide better lives for individuals as well as populations of both felines and native wildlife that are affected. In addition to veterinary medicine, Dr. Swann is also very passionate about working towards zoological and species conservation as well as environmental habitat preservation. The West Coast is home, and he has returned to California and joined the Tarzana Pet Clinic team to continue his work with domestic and exotic animal species, as well as to contribute his skills towards conservation, rehabilitation, and preservation efforts.
