Oh, we are so back! After a sudden 2 month-long hiatus from posting, Trail Mix makes their triumphant return (thanks to some help from our awesome new editor Luke!!!) with a new episode about the ICONIC Breakfast Club-themed romp from Season 3 of Degrassi: The Next Generation. Also, there's a dumb subplot about Spinner's locker scheme, but we're just going to ignore that. It's the season 2 finale, and this episode of Trail Mix covers a Degrassi two-parter, so there's a lot to discuss! The main plot explores Craig's feelings toward his abusive father, who he hasn't seen since moving in with Joey. Craig harbors a secret (and probably unhealthy) relationship with his father, who claims to have changed for the better, until his dad dies unexpectedly in a car accident. Craig returns to school in denial, determined to pretend that nothing has happened. There's also some side drama with JT and Liberty, and the grade 8's, but truly none of it matters as much as the Craig stuff.
