Interview with Grace Davies

12/18/2024
We had the pleasure of interviewing Grace Davies over Zoom video! Grace Davies unveils her latest single 'Another Night,' a masterfully crafted, feel-good pop anthem which showcases her remarkable vocals and creative talent within songwriting & music production. The track's infectious energy immediately captivates listeners, creating an irresistible and timeless soundscape that will leave you instantly hooked. Crafted in collaboration with producer Paul Whalley & topliner Ben Lythe, 'Another Night' draws inspiration from Grace's childhood musical influences, notably ABBA, infusing the track with a nostalgic, warm, fuzzy feeling that resonates deeply with us all. The production masterfully balances retro elements with contemporary pop sensibilities - creating a unique for current times, yet universally appealing sound that wraps listeners in a comforting sonic embrace. ‘Another Night’ is a result of an unconventional songwriting approach for Grace – working backwards from melody to lyrics. "I never work like that, normally" Grace reveals. "I usually have a specific topic I want to write about, come in with lyrics pre-prepared, and then find a melody. This time “Producer Paul” had the piano part already in his voice notes and I just mumbled gibberish over the top that happened to sound like the words “Another Night”. It was really fun to imagine what the song could be about from a title, rather than picking from past experiences." Grace, Ben & Paul have become somewhat of a “dream-team”, in their own words, across the forthcoming project - with ‘Another Night’ being their inaugural co-write together. At its core, 'Another Night' explores the delicate balance of relationships pushed to their breaking point. The track delves into the territory of paranoia in love, chronicling the moment when small grievances snowball into irreparable damage. The song's gradual build-up mirrors this emotional journey, culminating in a powerful revelation of vulnerability and regret. Yet, true to Grace's artistic vision, she transforms this heavy narrative into an uplifting dance-pop experience. When listening to Grace Davies' single ‘Another Night’ she playfully notes, "You can't help but dance... ‘Dance Cry’, my personal favourite genre!" This brilliant juxtaposition of emotional depth and catchy chorus, paired with the nostalgic melodies, creates a fun pop anthem that is not only relatable but encourages listeners to find joy and have fun, even in life's more challenging moments. About Grace Davies Grace Davies is a 27-year-old singer, songwriter, musician and producer from Blackburn, Lancashire. Since the beginning of her career, Grace has scored huge success, with over 100M+ streams for her songs on Spotify alone, support across the board at radio and acclaim everywhere from The Sunday Times to the BBC. At the age of 18, Grace’s first self-released project received national BBC Introducing support, was championed by BBC 6 Music and had a track remixed by Radio 1 Dance Music DJ, Danny Howard. In 2017, she was invited to appear on the X Factor and her audition video of original song ‘roots’ went viral. In a first for the show, Grace shook up the format by showcasing her original material throughout the competition and triumphed as runner up - gaining a top 2 iTunes chart position and numerous top 10s. 2020 marked the start of a new era in Grace’s career – her debut EP Friends With The Tragic reaffirmed her reputation as an exceptional songwriter. Following the closure of her former label SYCO, she self-released her second EP I Wonder If You Wonder in 2021, which was an even bigger success - with standout release ‘roots’ (written solely by Grace), reaching the Top 3 in the UK iTunes Single Charts, the Official Charts Top 100 and the UK Big Top 40, as well as plays on BBC Radio 1Xtra, BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, Heart & Capital FM. Her last EP, It Wasn’t Perfect, But We Tried sees her at her most confident and in the...

Interview with Atlas Genius

12/12/2024
We had the pleasure of interviewing Atlas Genius over Zoom video! Australian-based brothers, Atlas Genius are thrilled to release their new album End of the Tunnel. The band has put together a special recipe for the new collection of songs. Album ingredients: Lost love, guilt, passion, a dash of social commentary, existential crises, reckless abandon, and honest self-criticism. May contain traces of lust. 2024 also marks the 11-year anniversary of the band’s debut album When It Was Now, which features top charting songs including the certified platinum “Trojans” which hit #3 on the US Alternative charts and “If So” which peaked at #8. About Atlas Genius: Their Father was a self made man. He started as a miner, miles below the Australian earth before becoming a successful engineer. But his dreams fell apart following an incapacitating heart attack and a 2 year battle for his life. While their mother tended to their ailing father, the 3 teenage sons, Keith, Steven & Michael grew up quickly having to provide for the family. Eldest Keith’s job at KFC wasn’t enough, so the Jeffery brothers started playing gigs to pay the family’s bills. Even the youngest, 14 year old drummer Michael, had to balance school work and early mornings with their late night cover band shows in the local Adelaide clubs. After a few years and the healing of their father, the band built a recording studio in their home’s garage. Out of this home studio came the band’s debut album and certified platinum hit single “Trojans.” Over their career, Atlas Genius has traveled the world supporting Weezer, Blink 182, Incubus, Silversun Pickups, The Neighborhood, Passion Pit, Imagine Dragons, The Kooks, and more. Atlas have performed at some of the most iconic and prestigious festivals including Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Outside Lands, Bottlerock, Shaky Knees, and Life is Beautiful and has been featured on Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, James Corden, Conan O’Brien, David Letterman and Jay Leno. Interview with Amythyst Kiah (Amythyst Kiah Returns!)

11/14/2024
We had the pleasure of interviewing Amythyst Kiah over Zoom video! GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter Amythyst Kiah shares her new album, Still + Bright via Rounder Records. Produced by Butch Walker (Taylor Swift, Green Day and Weezer) and recorded at his Nashville studio, the 12-track album is a vital new addition to Kiah’s body of work, one largely dedicated to exploring the struggle and joy of true self-discovery. While her 2021 Wary + Strange details her grief, anger, and abandonment, Still + Bright is her liberation from the events of her earlier life, examining the vast expanse of her inner world, passions, self-exploration and realization, with a darkly cinematic twist. The project – which Rolling Stone hailed is “poised to be a major moment for the east Tennessee-raised singer-songwriter” – expands upon the wild definitions of Americana music. From gothic love songs with haunting vocals (“Silk and Petals feat. Butch Walker”) to a furiously stomping fantasy-inspired folk epic (“I Will Not Go Down” feat.Billy Strings"), or an ode to meditation laced with lush mandolin lines and lovely fiddle melodies (“S P A C E”), the album affirms her as an artist of both daring originality and uncompromising depth. The album is a collision of her love of indie rock, garage guitars and symphonic metal, flawlessly melded with the visceral lyricism and songwriting she’s renowned for in the roots community. The project – which features collaborations with S.G. Goodman, Billy Strings and Avi Kaplan (Pentatonix) – also marks a complete transformation in Kiah’s songwriting process: her first time opening up her approach and working with co-writers on an album. The album features co-writes with punk legend Tim Armstrong, Sadler Vaden (guitarist/vocalist for Jason Isbell’s 400 Unit) and Sean McConnell (Brittney Spencer, Bethany Cosentino). Kiah is currently on the road on her Still + Bright Tour, plus she recently was announced as direct support for select dates of Larkin Poe’s The Bloom Tour. About Amythyst Kiah: With an unforgettable voice that’s both unfettered and exquisitely controlled, the Tennessee-bred singer/songwriter is a “fantastic fingerpicker, dynamo singer and profound songwriter [who] defies all sorts of stereotypes” (Guitar Player). Her 2021 release of Wary + Strange earned glowing features and reviews from The New York Times, NPR Morning Edition, Pitchfork, and Rolling Stone, plus performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and CBS Saturday Morning. Kiah is also a member of Our Native Daughters—an all-women-of-color supergroup whose standout track “Black Myself” (written by Kiah) earned a Grammy Award nomination for Best American Roots Song. She recently joined Iron & Wine on their summer tour, and has shared stages with The Who, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, CAM and more. We want to hear from you! Interview with BabyJake (Jake Returns!)

11/4/2024
We had the pleasure of interviewing BabyJake over Zoom video! Florida-born Jake Herring, known professionally as BabyJake, may have appeared to be an overnight success, but his journey to the spotlight was anything but instantaneous. His hit single Cigarettes on Patios took off in 2019, garnering 200M+ streams and earning him a certified gold record and a major label deal. He would release two albums from the same vine, until the upheaval of the pandemic saw him splitting with his label and at a pivotal turning point. But giving up was never an option for Jake, and his resilience set him on a new path: an ascetic journey to rediscover himself, shedding his shag haircut in favor of a buzzcut, naked skin marked by the tattoos he collected along his journey. He found the answer on his upcoming album Beautiful Blue Collar Boy, a bouquet of songs rooted in the beauties and hardships of day to day life. Drawing influence from the likes of Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, and Jeff Tweedy, BabyJake stays true to his north star of confident storytelling and songwriting. On Beautiful Blue Collar Boy, Jake trades in the late night parties for the simplicity of authenticity, hard work, and a meaningful life to come home to. This chapter of BabyJake reveals a man stripped down to his American roots, with each song painting a small vignette of BabyJake’s blue collar dreams. Now planted in Nashville, TN, Jake returns to us as a Beautiful Blue Collar Boy. We want to hear from you! Interview with Amble

11/1/2024
We had the pleasure of interviewing Amble over Zoom video! Rising Irish folk trio Amble unveil their major label debut EP, The Commons, via Warner Records. Listen to it HERE Beloved for their descriptive storytelling, lyrics and powerful live performances, the band just announced their biggest headline tour to date for 2025, including shows at Dublin’s Trinity College and New York’s Bowery Ballroom, which sold out within minutes. The 30+ date run follows the band’s entirely sold-out 2024 headline tour across US, Canada, UK and Ireland, including their debut performances in Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, and many more. The Commons includes previously released tracks, “Little White Chapel” and “The Commons,” plus three new tracks, including the standout ballad “Thoughts Flood Back To You,” “One Man’s Love,” and“Luke The Navigator.” Throughout, the five-track EP explores themes of love, loss, and loneliness but always concludes with hope and wonder for the beautiful world around us. On writing the EP, the band explains, “Every one of our songs tells a story. We had no ambition to add bells or whistles or anything production-wise. We’re putting a microphone in a room, recording the music, and that's it. All three members are songwriters, each contributing in their own unique way. Robbie’s songs are based on personal experiences while Oisin – who also writes poetry and short stories– delivers somewhat more impressionistic work, and Ross admits he’s more of a melody guy.” Stay tuned for much more from Amble in 2025. ABOUT AMBLE Amble are Robbie Cunningham, Oisin McCaffrey, and Ross Mc Nerney, a three-piece ensemble of songwriters hailing from the Midlands and West of Ireland. Amble’s debut EP, 2023’s Amble (Live), introduced a new, musing, trad-tinged trio of songwriters to the Irish music scene, followed by 2024’shighly distinctive Of Land and Sea, found the group expanding their sound to an ever-more global audience. Their songs present indelible marks of deft rural-related storytelling and musicality that is equally traditional and current. Unusually for a contemporary group, all three members are songwriters. Every song tells a story. Robbie, Ross, and Oisin write songs that provide a quick getaway: one minute you’re at the center of life’s relentless storms, the next you’re sitting in the shelter and warmth of your local bar on a chilly winter‘s evening with friends, a drink, and the reliability of a great song. The unique perspective of three individual songwriters creates a peerless body of work - built on the now familiar, ruminative observations on the world and more fitting to the Amble journey - the stories unfolding each day within it. Interview with charlieonnafriday

10/18/2024
We had the pleasure of interviewing charlieonnafriday over Zoom video! The 21-year-old singer-songwriter who bobs and weaves freely between alternative, pop, and country, got his start by cooking up genre-busting anthems in his Seattle basement, turning his high school dreams into an impressive reality in DIY terms. His certified platinum hits “After Hours” and “Enough” have certainly solidified him as one to watch. He’s also opened for heavy-hitters like Tate McRae, Macklemore, and Jesse Murph. After building anticipation with one banger after another, charlieonnafriday, who has amassed nearly 1 billion global streams with his string of irrepressible releases since 2022, unveils his anxiously-awaited debut album, WILD CHILD, out now via Island Records. The record showcases his immense growth as a songwriter, vocalist, performer, and formidable presence. This time around, he powers up irresistible pop hooks with his classic hip-hop bounce, and just the right amount of country swagger, making each record accessible to all music lovers, no matter their genre of choice. Earlier this month, he set the stage for WILD CHILD with the intoxicating single “Bottle Go Down” supplemented by its high seas yacht party music video (living his best life, of course). Across the album, he continues to amplify this energy and remains musically unpredictable at every turn—from the hypnotic “Warning Shot” to the hummable “When It Rains.” ABOUT CHARLIEONNAFRIDAY: Cooking up genre-busting anthems out of a cluttered and cramped Seattle basement, charlieonnafriday (a.k.a. Charlie Finch) unassumingly transformed a high school dream into an impressive reality in D.I.Y. fashion and on his own terms. As he scaled multiplatinum heights, gathered billions of streams, and performed to sold out crowds, he always clung tightly to what brought him to that point in the first place. He makes music with the indisputable integrity surrounded by “day one” friends—fondly known as his “onnafriday” clique. He initially lit up TikTok mid-Pandemic. Inking a deal with Island Records, he ignited the platinum-certified “After Hours” and platinum-certified “Enough.” In between, he collaborated with everyone from Lil Tjay to Bankrol Hayden. He also earned acclaim from Billboard, People, and many more. Renowned for unpredictable and undeniable shows, he performed to packed audiences on bills with the likes of Macklemore, Jessie Murph, and Tate McRae. However, everything just set the stage for more music to come in 2024. We want to hear from you! Interview with Capstan

10/14/2024
We had the pleasure of interviewing Capstan over Zoom video! To make a mosaic, tiny pieces interlock as a larger picture. In similar fashion, distinct elements coalesce as one in Capstan. The Florida quintet—Anthony Demario [vocals], Joe Mabry [guitar], Harrison Borman [guitar], Andrew “Boz” Bozymowski [bass, vocals], and Scott Fisher [drums]—merge metallic precision with pit-splitting hardcore grooves and the kind of hooks you can’t shake. After amassing tens of millions of streams and earning acclaim from the likes of KERRANG! and many more, the group paint a definitive body of work on their aptly titled third full-length offering, The Mosaic [Fearless Records]. Since 2015, Capstan have progressed with each subsequent move. Following Seasonal Depression [2015] and In The Wake of Our Discord [2018], they made waves with their full-length debut, Restless Heart, Keep Running, in 2019. Among many standouts, “Stars Before The Sun” racked up over 5.1 million Spotify streams followed by “We’ll Always Have Paris” with 2.5 million Spotify streams. 2021 saw them level up again with Separate. Right out of the gate, KERRANG! rated it “4-out-of-5 stars” and proclaimed, “This is Capstan at full strength and it’s a second outing to be proud of.” They toured with the likes of Trash Boat, Doll Skin, Silverstein, and many more. This time around, the boys opted to self-produce, engineer, and record what would become The Mosaic. At the same time, they collectively absorbed the spirit of a more optimistic season. We had the pleasure of interviewing Åsa Orbison over Zoom video! Originally from Stockholm, Sweden Åsa Orbison had a fondness for music at a young age, where she attended music school in Sweden. Into adulthood, she then transitioned into working in marketing, but later came to the realization that music was always something she ultimately gravitated to and wanted to pursue. Åsa decided to make the move to America when she found love with now husband Roy Orbison Jr! She came back to her musical roots when working together with her husband (whom she collaborated with on her new album). As a huge feat, Åsa received a platinum record award for singing backup vocals on her father-in-law, Roy Orbison’s ‘Unchained Melodies” in 2019. The “Blue Bayou” album is Åsa's first album and passion project, recorded at Roy Orbison Jr’s "Pretty Woman Studio", Nashville A Team member Wayne Moss’ “Cinderella Studio” and Jack Clement’s “The Cowboy Arms Hotel And Recording Spa”. "Blue Bayou” album is a stunning representation of Åsa's Jazz/Pop soft, breathy singing style with her top singles "Blue Bayou”, ”Green Eyes” “Unchained Melody”, & “Satin Doll”. Åsa resides in Malibu, California with her 4 adorable children and husband Roy Orbison Jr. In her free time, she enjoys music, running, Pilates and hiking. Åsa is also passionate about supporting causes that are close to her heart including, Music Cares, Operation Smile and BabytoBaby. We want to hear from you! Interview with Nina Nesbitt

9/30/2024
We had the pleasure of interviewing Nina Nesbitt over Zoom video! Singer-songwriter and producer and multi-instrumentalist, Nina Nesbitt releases her new album, Mountain Music. From exceeding a billion streams to being championed by Taylor Swift and playing shows with everyone from Coldplay to Stevie Nicks, Nina’s career has taken her from highlight to highlight. Yet the release of her new album could well be the most significant moment to date. Not only is it a record that leans into an accomplished and engaging new sound, but it’s also the first release via her new independent label Apple Tree Records. Mountain Music is a record in which authenticity flows through every moment. Its impetus was a moment of crisis: Nina had become overwhelmed by the need to be always active on social media and realized it was a huge distraction from her songwriting. So instead, she paused and went back to basics. What emerged was a set of songs which were informed, in part by the two years she spent touring the States in support of her second studio album: the critically acclaimed The Sun Will Come Up, The Seasons Will Change, and partly by the Americana and US folk music that she has always loved. Their narratives also became more personal than ever. She reflected on everything that has happened in her life: growing up in a small Scottish village, breaking into music while living in the bustle of London, and now looking back at all of her life experiences from her new home in the countryside. While it might sound strange that Nesbitt was drawn to the music of Appalachia, heard echoing through the vast, verdant mountain ranges of the eastern United States, it makes more sense when you consider how traditional Scottish ballads and hymns are threads in that rich tapestry. Speaking about the new album, Nina Nesbitt reveals, “’Mountain Music’ feels like the most authentic and honest piece of work I’ve created so far. I was inspired by a lot of the American folk music I grew up listening to, and revisiting it made me fall back in love with writing music again. I knew I wanted to take inspiration but to also write my own story. This album celebrates that small town girl, puts an arm around the big city twenty-something and looks back at the view with me now from the calm and the quiet. ‘Mountain Music’ held my hand through some of my hardest moments and I hope it can hold yours too.” The album’s organic, resonant feel also comes from a recording process which placed a sharper focus on the importance of live performances. Accompanied by a band of musicians, Peter Miles and Nina produced sessions at Middle Farm Studios in South Devon in the UK, with Peter completing the record with mixing and mastering. That sound is today further showcased as Nina shares the new Mountain Music Session performance of the album’s closing track, “Parachute,” a swaying, romantic ballad that also addresses her introvert tendencies. Accompanied by a five-piece band, Nina leads a song which steadily grows in stature from sparse piano into a dramatic crescendo of sound. She’s visibly lost within the moment, channeling her emotions into an affecting song which charts the self-doubt that she had prior to starting the album. Having recently enjoyed a big spotlight moment when she performed at Team Great Britain’s Homecoming show live on BBC One to over 2 million viewers, and having just completed a dream tour as special guest to Stevie Nicks earlier this year, Nina plans to hit the road next month for a UK headline tour. Interview with Matiyashu

2/12/2024
We had the pleasure of interviewing Matisyahu over Zoom video! The Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, and alternative reggae rock musician Matisyahu recently release his new EP, Hold The Fire, via his own label Fallen Sparks Records. In his continued support of his Jewish roots, Matisyahu, who has never shied away from speaking his mind about current topics, his religion, and the history of the Jewish people, is also using his platform to speak out about the current war in Israel. He recently made a surprise appearance at the March for Israel in Washington, DC performing his global anthem “One Day” with The Maccabeats, a standout moment for the hundreds of thousands who gathered and watched, and also recently performed for and spoke at Columbia University to uplift the students amidst the rise of antisemitism on college campuses. Matisyahu has always used his music, which is rooted in the heritage of the Jewish people, as a source of empowerment and strength. “Fireproof” is another testament to that with its timely and hopeful message that is resonating with listening everywhere and has even been hailed as “an anthem of overcoming adversity.” “Fireproof” touches upon Matisyahu’s unwavering ability to keep his artistic fire burning while exploring the topics of perseverance and gratitude in times of trouble, a theme everyone can relate to. The new single stems from a dream Matisyahu had about holding the fire, which became a metaphor for him as an artist and as a Jew and serves as the inspiration for the EP’s title and theme. While the new EP is centered around the four earth elements, Matisyahu also reflects on celebrity and artistic success and the observation that we often find ourselves imitating other people or listening too much to their opinions of us, as he explores in “Fool’s Gold.” For nearly two decades, Matisyahu has kept his creative spirit aflame by evolving his sound, melding genres, and testing the limits of the musical traditions that have inspired him. A special kind of fire spurred the creation of Hold The Fire. About Matisyahu: Like only the most gifted storytellers, Matisyahu spins the rare kind of stories that simultaneously enlighten, enthrall, and expand the audience’s sense of possibility. Known for his skill in blending a shapeshifting collision of reggae, hip-hop, alt rock and boldly inventive pop – all while paying homage to his spirituality and roots in Judaism – Matisyahu’s live shows consistently provide audiences with a dynamic and energetic performance full of life and illumination. With nearly 20 years under his belt, he’s teamed up with the best improvisational musicians and artists for jam sessions and collaborations, and his long and winding career consists of seven studio albums including the chart-topping Light (2009), Youth (2006), and Spark Seeker (2012), as well as Akeda (2014), Undercurrent (2017), and Matisyahu (2022), and various live albums including his 2005 Gold-certified breakthrough Live At Stubb’s. This past summer, the New York-raised and New Jersey-based multi-talent released Live In Brooklyn, recorded at the iconic Brooklyn Bowl New York during his annual Festival of Light. Exemplifying his transcendent live show, Live In Brooklyn features renditions of fan-favorites and global hits including the Gold-certified “One Day” – whose original version has been streamed over 150 million times on Spotify alone – and the genre-bending, Billboard Hot 100-charting and alt-radio topping breakthrough single “King Without A Crown.” We want to hear from you! Interview with NIKI

8/15/2023
We had the pleasure of interviewing NIKI over Zoom video! Jakarta-born, LA-based singer-songwriter, and producer NIKI releases the visual for her track “The Apartment We Won’t Share.” Directed by Isaac Ravishankara, the new visual for “The Apartment We Won’t Share” compliments the nostalgic track that reflects on what could have been with a past relationship. NIKI is contemplative as she strolls through her apartment alone before picking up her guitar to craft the introspective song. Watch the video HERE. Most recently, NIKI made her NPR Tiny Desk debut where she delivered a carefully crafted & stripped-back performance of a handful of songs from her sophomore album Nicole, before closing with her hit single “Every Summertime.” Watch NIKI’s Tiny Desk performance HERE. Following her sold-out North American headlining tour last fall, NIKI will be bringing her live show to cities across the globe with her 2023 world tour which will span across North America, Asia, Europe, and Australia. The run also includes performances at festivals including Head in the Clouds NYC & LA, Lollapalooza, and Outside Lands. The full list of dates is below; please visit https://nikizefanya.com/ for more information. Previously, NIKI released the music video for her track “Backburner.” The video is deliberate and intimate, taking viewers into her world as she watches old footage recorded on her camcorder and re-lives fond memories of a past relationship. Watch the “Backburner” music video HERE. Last summer, NIKI released her sophomore album Nicole, a project that sees her where she shines, returning to her singer-songwriter roots in a carefully crafted coming-of-age juncture that sees present-day NIKI meet with her teenage self. The album was released to critical acclaim by the likes of NPR, Billboard, Vanity Fair, and V Magazine, who hailed Nicole as “NIKI’s piece-de-resistance that kicks off an exceptional new chapter for the burgeoning songstress.” NIKI also released her live album Live at the Wiltern last month, which features live recordings performed at the final show of NIKI’s sold-out headlining tour at the Los Angeles venue last October. NIKI has had an impressive career thus far, amassing over 2.1 billion streams worldwide and opening for Taylor Swift on tour when she was just 15. In addition to performing at Coachella and embarking on her headlining North American tour last fall, she has also headlined at 88rising’s Head in the Clouds Festival in Los Angeles, New York, Manila, and Jakarta. ABOUT NIKI Since breaking through with her 2018 EP Zephyr, NIKI has made a powerful imprint on the pop scene, amassing a devoted global fanbase with over 2.1 billion streams to date and making history as the first Indonesian artist ever to perform at Coachella. But after delivering her critically acclaimed debut album MOONCHILD, the Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter felt compelled to completely reexamine her artistic process—a move that found her revisiting the vast catalog of unfiltered and indie-folk-leaning songs she’d created in high school. As she returned to the stream-of-consciousness approach to songwriting that defined her earliest material, the 23-year-old musician soon arrived at her sophomore album Nicole: a boldly self-possessed body of work written entirely by NIKI, spotlighting her finespun storytelling and warmly expressive vocals more fully than ever before. With the album’s first half comprised of new or never-before-heard songs and its latter half featuring her favorite tracks from her widely beloved YouTube channel, NIKI imbues her songs with the kind of lived-in specificity that immediately reconnects the listener with the rush and devastation of their own first love.
