Megan Danelz of Heart Strings Music Therapy Services joins me in the podcast studio to talk about her music therapy group offerings. She offers group sessions both outside Golden Strip School of Music and of course right here at the school. I finally got our Jazz Sax instructor Ryan to sit down for his episode. Look up cool sax player in the dictionary and his picture will be there. Oh and the technical glitch I thought was fixed isn't you get to hear it at the very end, when it cut off the last minute of our interview.

Amazing interview with Adam, they are our trombone, composition and music theory teacher. I didn't have to edit any of his part of the interview, but my part, well it needed some help. Although for your entertainment and mine I left some of my screw-ups in there including my goofy laugh.

In this episode I interview the mulit-talented Katherin Trask. She teaches vocal, piano, violin, and uke. We not only get indepth about teaching but we also talk about Hanson....MMMBop!!!!

In another student interview I get to talk with Cyrus and his piano teacher Cara Horn. Cyrus has a lot to say about music, and learning multiple intruments. He even turns the table on me and ask me what it is I do around the school, it turns out I don't really know.

I am joined by Dan Niehaus a student of Shawn Allen. Dan proves that you are never too old to lear . Not only did Dan start playing guitar after he retired, he's about to get his degree from University of South Carolina Upstate.

In our continuing series of student interviews, adult student Coty joins us for an awesome interview. We talk about guitars and music, we even let guitar teacher Shawn Allen in on the fun. Had a great time doing this, Coty is an awesome guest and we got to geek-out about guitar stuff!

I had the pleasure of interviewing Zac Taylor one of Kevin Heuer's longest enrolled drum students. We got to do the interview without Kevin, since he's not in Greenville on Thursday’s. We talk about drums, guitars, bass, piano and his musical influences. Zac is a great kid and he's heading off to Middle Tennessee for college. You will also get the pleasure of hearing my brain glitch a lot during this one.

In this episode Kevin Heuer and I talk to drum student Jax and his dad Nick about what it's like learning to play drums and what benefits they have experienced thanks to music education. We also find out what Jax does when he isn't drumming. We even let them interview Kevin!

I get the pleasure of interviewing the newest memeber of the Golden Strip School of Music family, Christopher Blount. Not only is he a talented trumpet player, he is going to be one of the all time great music teachers in the state if not the country. Prepair to be inspired!!!
