The session’s title is inspired by the idea to transform our societies away from the currently prominent model that’s based around just creating value to others and financial growth to oneself, the company, and the GDP, without really taking into account the suffering our products, services and behaviors might bring to some not so much benefiting humans, species, and ecosystems. A different way of thinking might be something like “Hey, where do I see pain, illness, suffering, things that can be done in a better way, and what can I do about it, how can I contribute to turn things into joy, meaning, and well-being, without hurting other humans, species, and the so vital ecosystems of our planet.” I left some more thoughts in the music video’s description on YouTube. Though the space there is quite limited and I usually find myself editing out many ideas and explanations when I try to express myself within that 5000 character limit with topics like these.
