He was Bishop of Johannesburg from 1985 to 1986 and then Archbishop of Cape Town from 1986 to 1996, in both cases being the first black African to hold the position.

But what if I told you Advent doesn’t start on the First of December this year but today the 28th November and we count the Weeks rather than the days to Christmas and that you can’t get to Christmas without going through Advent and Preparing the way to a Journey to a Staple in Bethlehem where a Baby was born and light came into the world!
