The country’s Foreign Recruitment Center, a new structure recently launched by the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, is focused on the full integration of the new soldiers, and as such has published “Ukraine Quick Guide.” While meant for foreigners who have enlisted in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it is also a handy booklet for those looking to learn some Ukrainian culture, history, and language. In light of Vice President JD Vance’s recent visit to Greenland and the Trump administration’s suggestion that the United States could use military force to take over Greenland from its Danish allies, this 2019 video clip from President Donald Trump must be seen in a new light. At the time, he made headlines with the bizarre proposal to purchase Greenland from Denmark, sparking global confusion and diplomatic tension. His comments were widely viewed as absurd but chalked up to his unconventional approach to international relations. Now, the notion is much darker. On March 25, CIA Director John Ratcliffe told the United States Senate Intelligence Committee, “I'm convinced that they will fight with their bare hands if they have to, if they don't have terms that are acceptable to an enduring peace.” The footage above shows the peasant army under the control of *controversial Ukrainian insurgent Nestor Makhno, who at one point fought the Soviet Russian Bolsheviks, carrying out campaigns across southern Ukraine in 1919. In the clip, you can see that the Ukrainians were occasionally using only their bare hands. *Makhno was an anarcho-communist who waged battles against multiple groups including the White Army, the aforementioned Bolsheviks, and the Central Powers. Too often, discussions regarding Russia's (almost) three years of full-scale war on Ukraine have been framed as an “everything now” moment in the news cycle. This style of narrative has often obscured a more nuanced reality—Ukraine is moving step by step towards winning the future for its citizens while consistently defying the prognostications of an impending collapse on the battlefield. In the days before the New Year, I appeared on Poland’s International Television Channel, TVP World. While having previously posted the YouTube link to the full 15-minute interview they conducted with me, I felt it necessary to carve out the last 90 seconds of my appearance. This clip focused on what 2025 means for Ukraine. A question so generalized allowed for grand prognostications. A video featuring disgraced fugitive Wilmer Puello-Mota has just been released list by the terrorist state’s Ministry of Defense, highlighting the pervy politician’s work in carrying out genocide against the Ukrainian people. Share this video and post so the world again sees just what Russia stands for Puello-Mota (call sign “Boston” in the Russian military) is a former US Air Force veteran and local elected official charged with possessing pornographic images of a child. The fleeing fugitive fooled the Massachusetts court system by claiming he would plead guilty; however, a day before he was supposed to take responsibility for his criminal acts, he absconded to the bosom of evil.
