After the news of 65 cases of HIV surfaced a doctor was detained by police. According to the initial public records the doctor had been using used syringes while his registration was expired about 13 years ago. It was reported that the doctor did this as an act of revenge as he himself had HIV/AIDS. The horror still prevails as the toll has climbed to 930, out of which 765 are children and 165 adults.
