Brittany Griner is on her way home today! The mid-terms are mostly a win for Democrats after Raphel Warnock was reelected. Gas prices are down and hopefully inflation follows! In this episode, I talk about the scare term "Radicals", and how it played into the midterms as well as the pollical climate. Just because people have far left or right views doesn't mean they are radicals. It means they have a view that isn't common, but isn't very extreme. However, if you listen to the fear mongering, these far leaning individuals are radical extremist. In this episode, I talk about Biden's cannabis announcement. The announcement is a step in the right direction, but more will need to be done to legalize cannabis. In this episode, I talk about DeSantis and the 48 migrants in more detail. As it turns out, there were pamphlets used to lure the migrants away from the facility. This makes an already tragic situation even more tragic. The migrants from Central and Sount America are headed our way for a number of reasons. One of the main reasons being the violence of the drug cartels. The US can cut down on the number of migrants by taking money from the pockets of the cartels. In this episode, I talk about Biden's student loan forgiveness program. I also talk about the Republican arguments against the program. Many of them are weak, but one does stick out. How does this apply to me? Many Americans don't go to college and did not get any of that debt. Why should they help pay it off? I think forgiving student loan debt is the start of this country truly investing in education. This means all kinds of educations that don't involve a 4-year university. That does appeal to more Americans that did not go to a university but opted for trade jobs. Help everyone get as much education as the want and as they're capable of is important. In this episode, I talk about the Inflation Reduction Act and the Republican spin against it. The Inflation Reduction Act will do a number of positive things, like add funding to the IRS and cap out of pocket expenses on prescriptions for Medicare. In this episode, I talk about Oberfell and if SCOTUS with overturn the case. Democrats are trying to introduce legislation that will codify Oberfell. However, Republicans are against the bill, saying it's a waste of time and SCOTUS will not touch the case. I think Republicans are right, but missing context. SCOTUS will not touch the case, yet. In this episode, I talk about a Tic Tok trend starting with what's a conspiracy theory you 1000% believe in. I believe the US is a Fascist Democracy and that's why our government benefits the wealthy as much as it does. Wealth distribution in this country is slanted to the top so much that it goes beyond a model Oligarchy.
