In 1938, in Cuidad Mexico, the newspaper published a story about young Joaquin Velazquez. A boy who was said to move objects with his mind. His name was Joaquin Velazquez and neighbors, his own mom, feared his alleged telekinetic powers. In 2019, a DOD report stated that sexual assault reports in the military are on the rise, every year, it's higher than the last. That could be due the number of reports just rising because more people are coming forward, but it is a fact that sexual assault happens at high numbers in the Military. A different report from 2010 stated that 120 female military service members stationed in Iraq died there. 60 of those 120 deaths were reported to be non-combat related. Of those half, non-combat deaths, 30 were ruled suicides, but there was evidence to suggest many of them may have actually been murders. Many families reported that the army had given them conflicting information, failed to give any information or asked families to remain silent about their daughters death. On February 27th, 2020, Bad Bunny got on stage on the Tonight show and performed while wearing a skirt, a white shirt and a salmon colored Jacket. The shirt read "Mataron a Alexa no un hombre con falda". They murdered Alexa, not a man in a skirt. For many, that was the first time we learned her name. Alexa Negron Luciano. Every International Women's day there's marches all over Mexico, demanding justice for the femicides. One of the biggest marches happens in Mexico City. Last year, on International women's day 2022, a clip went viral. In the clip, there is a older man, wearing a pink shirt, wearing a sign, with a young girl's picture and the words, "no me olvidén, falta yo/don't forget me, I'm missing" in big white letters. He's surrounded by women, who are screaming "no estas solo, no estas solo". They're jumping, there's drums and they all embrace him. This man is Jose Luis Castillo and he's 62 years old. The girl in the sign he's wearing is his daughter, Esmeralda Castillo Rincón and she has been missing for 14 years now. Jose Luis Castillo has been relentlessly searching for her since he was 48. A solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes between Earth and the Sun, obscuring the view of the Sun from a small part of the Earth, totally or partially. They happen often, but rarely in very populated areas and have been experienced by humans, for the longest of times.
