Episode 78: Frank Carbone on Cellness, Healing and Womb Continuum
3/19/2026
Frank Carbone offers support and guidance in experiential and creative ways to explore movement, sensation, and deep healing through an embryonic journey from within. Through Continuum practices, participants track and reflect on the sensations of being held in a womb-like field of co-creative bio-resonant expression—exploring the restorative capacity of fluid to dissolve, reorganize, and return to form.
In this work we connect to the fluid systems of the body and the mysterious slow rhythms of our ever-creative embryo, rediscovering the intelligence and regenerative potential of our living cells.
Frank is a Biodynamic Cranial Sacral Therapist, Sivananda Yoga Teacher, singer, songwriter, DJ, and Gyrotonic Instructor. He is also the creator of Womb Continuum, a synthesis of over 20 years of study with Continuum founder Emilie Conrad combined with Pre- and Perinatal Therapy with Dr. Raymond Castellino.
Frank served as a personal assistant to Dr. Castellino for six years and assisted in over 85 Womb Surround processes worldwide. He now offers Womb Continuum workshops internationally and maintains private practices in Ojai, California and New York.

Episode 74: Tara Evonne Trudell: Artist, Creative Consultant, Advocate
3/16/2025
As a Creative Healing Consultant and Artist, Tara Evonne Trudell, (Santee Sioux/Rarámuri/Xicana) weaves multiple mixed media of handmade paper beads, poetry, photography, film, and audio components into her work to express her creative visions that address the many social issues she sees as a continuance of generational trauma on women and children. Tara makes beads from the many reports, research, data, and survivor stories to amplify their voices and resources that need to be shared in all communities.
Tara offers her personal experience of being a grandmother, granddaughter, daughter, mother, sister, and one day a future ancestor as an opening to bear witness to others who are struggling with their own intergenerational abuse and trauma. Tara shares her own healing journey for others to relate and join her in the navigation of changing this painful and harmful narrative. It is through this guidance of spirit reclamation and empowering personal energy that can come from our own making prayer beads that address the many colonial and oppressive narratives in a manner that dates back to 100,000 BC when beads were first discovered. It is from our own history, words, images, and worlds can we reshape and reclaim our connection to spirit. With one bead at a time, we can reclaim a time and place before harm entered our ways of life. This becomes the stepping off point for the return of our personal power.
Incorporating these hand made beads as her own personal regalia, Tara is on a lifelong journey in the reclamation of her identity to earth and spirit by remembering her indigenous connection and ceremonies. An artist that she hopes represents and advocates for earth and humanity to stimulate action and a sense of community care that needs to be shared between all nations. Tara has done extensive prayer bead workshops with women survivors of sexual assault, human trafficking, domestic violence, community and youth groups, & immigrants/refugees.

7/23/2024
Rachel Smith (they/she) is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Integrated Prenatal and Perinatal Practitioner. They grew up on unceded Monacan territory known as Charlottesville, VA and have always felt deeply rooted in the community and in the land itself, particularly the Blue Ridge mountains. Smith attended the Virginia School of Massage and completed studies there in 2002. They went on to graduate from the University of Virginia with a degree in Studies in Women and Gender. Since their late teens, Smith has been involved in anti-violence work; they helped to found the Virginia Anti-Violence Project - an organization that addresses sexual violence, intimate partner violence and hate violence in the LGBTQ community. They also served on the state board of the Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance for 6 years.
After having 2 (of their 3) children, Smith shifted the focus of their commitment to helping people in a more direct, hands-on way. Their own experience of birth helped change their relationship with their body; they knew after giving birth to their first child that the experience of being able to feel and trust into their body was transformative and life-changing. Given how challenging the prenatal and perinatal time can be, particularly for Black and Brown folx, LGBTQIA2S+ folx, neurodivergent folx and folx with disabilities, Smith knew they wanted to help other birthing parents feel supported and resourced around this tender time. They have been studying Prenatal and Perinatal Dynamics with Kate White since 2017 and have assisted in workshops and trainings she has held for participants coming from all over the world including Australia, Lebanon, Serbia, and California.
Smith offers in-person and zoom sessions that take a holistic, somatic, and trauma-informed approach to helping people address trauma and challenges in pursuit of living and loving their best lives.
