Carter Pease prepares for Lucas Oil Formula Car Series for 2020 after the Shootout

Carter Pease ended 2019 on a high note. He finished second in the Lucas Oil School of Racing Shootout in Sebring and by doing so he knew what he would be doing in 2020. Well, he knew what he would be doing for half of the season.

Ely Navarro Lucas Oil School of Racing Shootout Winner

Elysiah Navarro (Ely) was awarded the Scholarship by the Lucas Oil School of Racing Shootout presented by Cooper Tires in December of 2019. Ely rose to the top of the 27 driver field over the 3 days of driving and instruction.
His scholarship will allow him to compete in the 2020 Lucas Oil Formula Car race series. The winner of that series will get a $75,000 scholarship to apply towards a 2021 USF2000 entry, so there is a alot on the line for Ely as he enters 2020.

I interviewed one of the drivers that shined in the recent 2019 Lucas Oil School of Racing Shootout presented by Cooper Tires, Elliott Budzinski.

Fresh off his winter testing in a Indy Pro 2000 car at the Yacademy Winter Testing with Juncos Racing in Florida, Matt Round-Garrido joined 33 Dreams of Indy from his home in England.
