14-year old girl has been sited dead in an abandoned Chinese galamsey pit at Akrokerri Bobriase in the Adansi North district of Ashanti Region. This came to bare when her siblings reported the incident to the elders of the community when she got trapped in the pit they went to swim. Speaking to Adom news correspondent, Isaac K. Normanyo, the assembly member for the Bobriase electoral area, Kwadwo Korankye confirmed the incident and disclosed that the issue has been reported to the police and the body has so far been retrieved.

The Court ruling, suspended PNC General Secretary Janet Nabla due to allegations of gross misconduct, insubordination, and incompetence. The Court also reinstated David Apasera as the party's leader. The PNP also announced its interim executives, with Janet Nabla appointed as the party's National Chairman with Sulemana Seidu, as the Interim General Secretary of the PNP.

Deputy Minister of Justice and Attorney General Alfred Tuah-Yeboah is assuring the general public that ex-Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC), Sedina Tamakloe shall soon be brought to Ghana from the United States to serve the 10 years prison term. Madam Sedina Tamakloe was today sentenced to 10 years in prison with hard labor. Also, the former Chief Operating Officer, Daniel Axim, has received a five-year sentence with hard labor. Both individuals were convicted on 78 counts, including causing financial loss to the state, theft, conspiracy to steal, money laundering, and violating public procurement laws.
