My First Dog by Steve Adams My dog just walked over and started licking. I hugged her and we sat together watching the squirrels out of the window. This brought back memories of my first dog, Tony. I was at an auction sale and was maybe about 10 years old, when someone brought a load of puppies for auction. All of the pups sold except one. As with all puppies, she was cute and would look at me with those large brown eyes. I offered the owner $1, which was a LOT for me, and I ended up with a soft new puppy. My dad laughed as he told the story again last night, and informed me the guy would have given me the puppy, but for a kid at that age, bargaining was unknown to me. Tony was a great friend and had this habit of showing her teeth when she was happy. She loved to play tug of war, throw up a paw for a shake or drown me with licks. April 28 Intended Democrat Consequences New York State's Government is exiling successful taxpayers to Florida. So is California's craziness. But Illinois has them beat with its climate change laws that are forcing two-thirds of an electric plant out of the state, ready kilowatt, packed its power plant, and headed for Texas, which welcomes gas-powered electric plants. The company that owns two-thirds of the plant is hauling away the equipment that will generate 900 megawatts of power for Texan. So thanks to Illinois governor, Democrats already are shuttering nuclear power plants. This is called unintended consequences. But I think they are intended, and the real purposes haven't been disclosed. Republicans in Illinois are fighting back, like the 98-pound weaklings that they are. April 29 Islamic Reconquest of Europe Last year, I spent a couple of weeks in Spain. Beautiful country - except it's changing. Have you seen the movie, El Cid, starring Charlton Heston? It was about a Christian knight who drove the Moors (that is Muslims) out of Spain and re-established it as a free Christian country. Now, the Muslims are taking over. A million Muslims who came in illegally during the last year are now being granted citizenship. Spain has refused to pay its dues to NATO. That is, they expected to be protected for free. But how do you protect a nation that allows invaders whose only intent is the conquest of your country. But it isn't just Spain. Europe is caving in. April 30 Will SCOTUS save America? September 11, 2001, 4,000 Americans were killed when Muslims flew airplanes into the trade towers. A Saudi Muslim said afterwards, "We used America's freedoms to destroy America. We'll be coming back for more" I think one of the greatest miscarriages of America's freedom is the 14th Amendment. That is, anyone who's born in America gets to be an American citizen. Over a million Chinese women have flown into America, had a baby, took the baby back to China to be raised and equipped to come back (as American citizens) to destroy America. The 14th Amendment was about the children of slaves, and making sure they had citizenship. It is not about foreign invaders becoming citizens and destroying us from within. April 27 Anything but Christianity Have you noticed that every person who's totally ignorant of the Constitution believes that "separation of church and state" is in the Constitution? Except the Constitution doesn't mention separation, or church, or state. But when you get down to it, it's easy as ABC. Anything but Christianity. According to district officials and architectural documents, schools in Minnesota suburbs are moving forward with plans to add dedicated prayer rooms. And the prayer rooms also have foot washing basins. And both will be exclusively used for Muslims. Where's the ACLU? Oh, I forgot. "Do Not Befriend Farm Animals" by Steve Adams I learned early in life that farm animals were to be cared for but not turned into pets. For obvious reasons, most animals on a farm are the commodity that the farm sells. Any emotional attachment would most surely end with heartache. We had a heifer that we raised and had to bottle feed. She was adorable as a calf and I ended up bonding with her. Her name was Babe and she was so tame, I could get off the school bus, walk toward her in the field and she would lie down and let me curl up in her belly. When she had her own calf, she would bring it over to me and let me pet it too. We kept Babe as breeder stock, so she was not going anywhere, but I was also keenly aware that I had broken a cardinal rule of the farm. April 20 Democrats destroying Virginia on April 21! Democrats know they can't win by following the U.S. Constitution, so they're forever scheming to pervert the document, which has kept us free for over 200 years. My home state of Virginia just joined the scheme, and we're just 48 electoral votes away from throwing the 2028 presidential election into complete chaos. I don't know why Democrats think they're smarter than our founding fathers who framed the Constitution that's kept us free and prosperous, but they're working to destroy it, especially our own Islamist Nazi Abigail Spanberger who just passed the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, meaning no more electoral college. She's also working towards, and if she gets her way, Fairfax County will have three congressmen, all Democrats. There would only be one Republican out of the whole state of Virginia. April 21 Working people vote Republican If you just followed your taxes, I think you're going to get a nice surprise. Working Americans are going to get an average of $3,400, 11% more than last year, thanks to the Republicans' Working Family Tax Cuts. Thanks to President Trump, the Working Families Tax Cuts is part of one big, beautiful bill, which passed last summer. And you'll wonder why Democrats would vote against working families, but they did. It was the largest tax cut in American history, and it put an end to the taxpayer-funded benefits for at least 1.4 million illegal aliens. But waiters aren't going to have to pay tax on tips, and workers won't pay tax on overtime pay. I'm just wondering, why would anyone who actually works for a living vote Democrat ever again? April 23 Ignoring stupid democrats and Popes Mr. Trump's war with Iran has many levels of strategy, just like the capture of the dictator Venezuela had many levels of strategy. The average person can't keep up with Mr. Trump's thinking to save America. We're now controlling the streets of Hermos, not Iran. China, North Korea, and other countries that would like to see us fail are now going to want our oil. In fact, we're shipping five million barrels a day, and Iran is going to be out of business. But just because they're bankrupt doesn't mean they're defeated. Unless we get rid of the ayatollahs and the death culture and any threats of a nuclear weapon, the fight with Iran goes on. April 16 Victimless Crimes and Victims For the last 52 years, I've been a financial planner and a wealth manager. I think I've seen just about every scenario anyone in my profession could see. But I'm seeing something new, connecting, and destructive over the last few years. Internet stock trading and pornography. They often run hand in hand, and I wondered why. A psychologist explained it to me today. "Both produce endorphins, a natural opiate to which men especially can become addicted. The online stock trader gets his endorphins, whether he's losing or winning. And many have lost their homes, their businesses, their retirement. The pornography guys - they've often lost their marriages and their natural sex drive." Of course, there's no laws against gambling, online trading, or pornography. "The difficulty of chopsticks" by Steve Adams While in corporate America, I was honored to run the intern program for our company. Each year, I would get talented students from local schools and colleges. One year, I walked into the lobby to meet my new intern and found a bright eyed young South Korean man named Yu-jun. As the internship progressed, I found that I was learning many cultural things from him too. After his internship concluded, his family invited my wife and me over for supper. We were thrilled and walked in to find a spread of food completely covering the table, all Korean. His mom must have cooked for DAYS. The supper went well and as I neared the end of my plate while trying to use chopsticks as a novice, I realized I had no idea how to pick up the strawberries… I discretely tried to watch what Yu-jun did and almost laughed out loud when I saw him violently stab his strawberry with his chopstick. April 15 Embracing the hellfire of socialism Why do generation Y college graduates usually vote Democrat? You might say it's because they're stupid. Well, they are stupid about many things, but I don't think it's al their fault. They went to college and they learned socialism. That is, the theory of socialism. The professors there have never held a job in the real world, and they don't know what socialism actually does in the real world. It drains incentive. It creates poverty. In fact, over 100 million people have been murdered. In the name of socialism, so much for Mayor Bam Dami saying, embrace the warmth of socialism. April 13 Courage of Jefferson and Trump One of President Thomas Jefferson's first acts was to free the world from the Barbary Pirates. You know, the Marine Hymn "to the shores of Tripoli." That's where the Muslims piracy was settled. All the European countries were paying tribute to the Barbary Pirates every year. And America was paying 20% of its revenue in tribute to the Barbary Pirates. And those Muslims thought they were in the right because the Quran told them that they could steal the money from infidels, enslave them, kill them. But Thomas Jefferson wouldn't have any of that. For instance, Minnesota's Democrats blew a $19 billion budget surplus, then raised taxes by $10 billion, then spent its way into a $6 billion budget deficit that equals $35 billion they blew through in just two years. And now, they want to create a new tax bracket.This one will put the nail in the coffin. At what point will Democrat voters finally figure out that their party is Minnesota's biggest problem?
