For we are the temple of the living God. 1 Corinthians 14:3 NLT But one who prophesies strengthens others, encourages them, and comforts them. 1 Corinthians 11:1 NLT And you should imitate me, just as I imitate Christ. God Wants to Speak to You

4/15/2024
Pastor Whit begins our new teaching series, How to Hear God. Hebrews 1v1-3 ESV 1 Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. 3 He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, 1 John 1v1 NIV That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. Luke 24v32 NIV They asked each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?” John 10v27 ESV My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. The Law of the Seed

4/8/2024
Our Founding Pastor, Willie George, shares a message on the Law of Authority and the Law of the Seed. Genesis 1:26 KJV And God said, “Let us make man in our image, after Our likeness; and let them have DOMINION…over all the earth…” Psalm 8:6 NKJV “You made him have DOMINION over the works of Your hands; You put all things under his feet.” Matthew 8:9 NKJV “For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me…” Those who are submitted to authority are enabled to exercise authority. Mark 1:21-27 NKJV 21 Then they went into Capernaum and immediately on the Sabbath He entered the synagogue and taught. 22 And they were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes. 23 Now there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit. And he cried out, 24 saying, “Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are – the Holy One of God!” 25 But Jesus rebuked him saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!” 26 And when the unclean spirit had convulsed him and cried out with a loud voice, he came out of him. 27 Then they were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, “What is this? What new doctrine is this? For with authority, He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him.” Matthew 8:10 NKJV “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!” Genesis 1:29 KJV And God said, “Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed (Hebrew – “seeding seed”), which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you, it shall be for meat.” Mark 4:3 KJV “Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow…” Mark 1:26 KJV And He said, “So is the kingdom of God as if a man should cast seed into the ground…” John 12:23-34 NKJV 23 “The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified." 24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.” Genesis 3:14-15 NKJV 14 So the Lord God said to the serpent… 15 ”…I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.” 2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” Psalm 126:6 KJV “He who goes out weeping, bearing precious seed…” “…shall doubtless come again…” Psalm 126:6 KJV “...with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” 2 Corinthians 9:7 KJV “Every man according as he purposes in his heart, so let him give…” “…not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loves a cheerful giver."

Easter 2024 | Enter by the Narrow Gate

4/1/2024
This weekend, Pastor Whit concluded our How to Be Human teaching series as we celebrated the resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ on Easter. Matthew 7:13-14, 24-29 ESV 13 “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. 14 For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few. 24 “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.” 28 And when Jesus finished these sayings, the crowds were astonished at his teaching, 29 for he was teaching them as one who had authority, and not as their scribes. Matthew 13:44 ESV “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy, he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field." Matthew 16:24-25 ESV 24 Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 25 For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it." John 15:5 ESV I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. Did you love this message? God Gives Good Gifts

3/17/2024
Pastor Casey continues through Jesus' teachings in His Sermon on the Mount in our current series, How To Be Human. This weekend, we talked about Matthew 7:7-11. Matthew 7:7-11 ESV 7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. 9 Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? 11 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!"

Judge Not: How to Move from Condemnation to Compassion

3/11/2024
Pastor Lee continues through Jesus' teachings in His Sermon on the Mount in our current series, How To Be Human. This weekend, we talked about judgment. Matthew 7:1-2 NIV 1 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Matthew 7:3-5 NIV 3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. 6 “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.

Navigating Jesus' Teachings: Money, Attention & Your Needs

3/3/2024
This weekend, Pastor Whit continues through Jesus' teachings in His Sermon on the Mount in our current series, How To Be Human. This weekend, we talked about money, attention and your needs. Matthew 6:19-20 ESV 19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. Matthew 6:21 ESV For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:22-23 ESV 22 “The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light, 23 but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness! Matthew 6:24 ESV “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.“ Matthew 6:25-33 ESV 25 “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? 28 And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, 29 yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." How To Pray

2/25/2024
This weekend, Pastor Whit continues through Jesus' teachings in His Sermon on the Mount in our current series, How To Be Human. This weekend, we talked about The Lord's Prayer. Matthew 6v5-8 5 “And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. 6 But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. 7 “And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. Matthew 6v9-10 9 Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. 10 Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6v11-13 11 Give us this day our daily bread, 12 and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Matthew 6v14-15 14 For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, 15 but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Pastor Whit continues through Jesus' teachings in His Sermon on the Mount in our current series, How To Be Human. This weekend, we talked about validation. Matthew 6v1-6 ESV 1 “Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven. 2 “Thus when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. 3 But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.5 “And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others. Matthew 6:16-18 ESV 16 “And when you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. 17 But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, 18 that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. 2/12/2024
Pastor Ethan continues through Jesus' teachings in His Sermon on the Mount in our current series, How To Be Human: Matthew 5:38-47 ESV “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I say to you, Do not resist the one who is evil. But if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if anyone would sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. And if anyone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. Give to the one who begs from you, and do not refuse the one who would borrow from you. “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? The Way Out of Anger and Lust

1/28/2024
Pastor Blake continues through Jesus' Sermon on the Mount in our teaching series, How To Be Human: Matthew 5:17-20 ESV “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5:21-22 ESV “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment. But I say to you that everyone angry with his brother or sister will be liable to judgment…” Matthew 5:22 ESV ”But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire.“ Matthew 5:23-26 ESV "So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar and go. First, be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. Come to terms quickly with your accuser while you are going with him to court, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the guard, and you be put in prison. Truly, I say to you, you will never get out until you have paid the last penny." Matthew 5:27-28 ESV “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.“ Matthew 5:29-30 ESV “If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell. And if your right-hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body goes into hell.” Did you love this message?
