Psalm 19: 1 - 14 (NIV) The purpose of the universe is not just to simply be a home for us humans but to show off the splendour and the majesty and the greatness and the glory of God. The beauty of creation reflects its artist. God has revealed Himself in His creation and in His Word. The question is, how will you respond?

Psalm 16: 1 – 11 (CSB) The Psalms are written to be prayed, recited, sung and lived out - not merely to be read. David writes this Psalm in times of peace in his life and wants to lead his heart to hold fast to his love for and belief in God. In Psalm 16, we are called to seek protection from the temptation of loving the things of the world above God. We are reminded to pray at all times, delight in the community of God's people, and to put God as the centre of our pleasure and joy.

Psalm 14: 1-7 (CSB) Psalm 14 describes the state of the world - turned away from God, fallen and in ruins. God looks down from heaven, seeking for those who are just, Godly, righteous and obedient to Him. We are anchored in the truth of the love and work of Jesus. Only faith in Christ can make us just, Godly and Righteous. Jesus has come to save and restore us.

Psalm 8: 1-9 (CSB) In Psalm 8, David speaks of God's great majesty as seen in the skies and upon the earth. Yet, our great God and King cares deeply for each one of us. In view of His mighty love, our response is to worship Him and magnify His name.

The timeless wisdom found in Psalm 1 explores the contrasting journeys of good and evil - righteousness and wickedness. It reminds us that true happiness can only be found in Jesus. While many have searched elsewhere, they have come up consistently empty. The promise is clear - a life lived following God and His Word leads to abundance, perseverance, and heavenly protection, while the path of the wicked leads to ruin. Which path will you take?

Philippians 3: 10-11 (CSB) Jesus is not dead. When He rose from the grave, putting death to death, He guaranteed eternal life for those who put their faith in Him. The Resurrection is a preview of our future, which makes us steadfast and immovable in the present.

Philippians 2:5-11 (CSB) Jesus rides into Jerusalem with one thing on his mind. Forgiving your sins. Jesus is Just and is here with Salvation for You.

Pastor One Mokgatle and Public Policy researcher, Kagiso Pooe, have a discussion about politics and the church. The discussion gives Christians tools to engage in the political arena as we are called to be salt and light to the world.

Matthew 5:13-16 (CSB) Christians are called to be salt and light to the world. We possess the ability to bring change and to influence a thirst for God's word. This call extends to how we view and engage with politics and the government. Our mission is rooted in the knowledge that empires and nations come and go, but God's Kingdom reigns forever.

When God made us in His image and breathed the breath of life into our lungs – He designed us to find genuine joy, inner peace, and satisfaction in one place only – and that's with Him. For He is the creator and sustainer of EVERYTHING!

Proverbs 3:1-12 (CSB) God is generous to us. He gave his first and best through Jesus. We are called to be generous in our giving, doing so thoughtfully, free and joyfully. This is an act of worship.

1 Corinthians 6:9-17 (CSB) As we fight against sexual immorality, we are called to remember that Jesus fights for and alongside us. He draws near to us as we draw near to Him, and in Him, there is no condemnation. You are not your own. You were bought with a price. So, glorify God with your body.

Philippians 2:3 – 11 (CSB) Humility and service to others are the key to greatness. A leader is a servant. Greatness is not determined by our position of power, but rather our posture and relationship with Jesus.

Genesis 1:1-5 (CSB) God worked to create the universe and all that is within it. He is still working to sustain it. His purpose for work has always been for our good and His Glory. We are called to worship the Lord through our work.

Genesis 1:26-28 (CSB) The world we live in is basically enemy-occupied territory. Christianity tells the story of the rightful King who came to earth to establish His kingdom and has invited His followers to join Him in advancing this kingdom.

John 12:1-11 (CSB) In an extravagant act of worship, we see Mary anoint Jesus' feet with a high-priced perfume. A selfless act of love and devotion—an appropriate way to honour the Messiah. Romans 12: 1-2 (CSB) We at Rooted Fellowship have declared 2024 as the Year of Worship. We worship because we are in awe and wonder. We worship because it leads to wholeness. We worship because we are at war.

Colossians 2:13-15 (CSB) Christ conquered sin, death and Satan. God sent His son on a mission to rescue us and through him we have been liberated. In Him we have also conquered.

John 3:16-19 (CSB) God has the power, authority, and position to condemn us for all our sins, yet he graciously sent Jesus Christ, who gave his life as ransom for us. Through Jesus, God's rescue mission not only frees us from condemnation, it gives us eternal life.
