This message begins a series on the life of Joseph. He was a man God was going to promote to a very high office but Joseph certainly wasn't ready yet. God had to work in his life. Joseph will teach us three things from his own mistakes to help us to et to that place God wants us to be. Listen carefully so you too can learn from your mistakes. How often have you considered that God goes to work with you every day? Oh yeah, He is right there with you and He is speaking to you. Yes, you can still concentrate on your work but learn to listen to Him because He has some important things to say. Listen carefully so you can learn to listen to God while you are at work.

God speaks to us all kinds of different ways. One way we may not consider is through our travels. It is amazing how God can speak to our hearts in so many ways and that is because He has so many wonderful things to say to us. Let this message enlighten you and show you that in your travels, you can hear the voice of God in your heart.

If people would really listen, no one could say God is silent. He actually speaks to us all day long. This is the beginning of a 6 part series that will enable us to hear God speak through various aspects of life. Jesus said, "He who has an ear, let him hear." This means to have a heart of understanding. Get ready and tune in so you can hear what God has to say to you.

Who says animals can't talk? Well, may be they can't talk in the human sense, but God actually can speak through them. Because God created them, he built into them a message, something He wants to say to us. No, we're not talking about Mr. Ed, the talking horse but something deeper, more divine. Listen closely and see what they have to say to you.

God created nature so He can use it as He sees fit. Not only do animals have a message for us but the season do as well. Especially living in an area where one experiences all four seasons, this Message will have a greater impact. God speaks to us in these ways because He loves us and is not limited to only one way of conversation. Whatever season of life you may be in, listen to what God has to say to you.

Who would have thought that those little crawly creatures, or those tiny one that fly in our face would carry a message from God? Don't be surprised at how God speaks because He is the Creator of all things so He can use all things for His purposes, including speaking through them. The next time you want to squash that ant, wait and see what God wants to say to you through that little creature.

After learning to be led by the Holy Spirit, you will continue on a personal, intimate relationship with this third member of the Trinity. When you put the Word of God in your heart, He draws it out for the moment needed, but you have to put it in. Get ready for a infornmative and personal study on the Spirit and your heart.

How does one get into the family of God? We actually get in through adoption. but, when adopted, we have all the rights and privileges of a biological family member. Of course, we are not biological children of God but as adopted by the Spirit, it is as good as. Learn about the intimacy you have with God once adopted into His family at salvation.

The Holy Spirit is God's gift to the believer. Not only does He seal us till the day of redemption but He also desires to lead us through life. This is important because we have a sin nature that desires to do the same, lead us through life. That one never works out well. Learn what it means to be led by the Holy Spirit and what must take place before that leading can happen.

How man remember that song, "When I woke up this morning, you were on my mind?" That's love wouldn't you say. Well, loving God with all your mind was not only commanded by Jesus, but it is a test of real love. We love what we think about the most. Sometimes we need to be reoriented in our thinking about God. That's okay, as long as we come back after drifting away. Let's learn today what it really means to love God this way.

Did you know that your physical being is as much an important factor in your relationship with God as your heart, soul and mind are? Even the Apostle Paul said to "Present your bodies a living sacrifice to God..." This means there is a diligence required or an intentionality in our Christian walk. Let's not leave out this most important aspect of our spiritual life, the physical body.

Once you understand what it means to love God with all your heart, you are now ready to move to loving God with all your soul. The soul is that which relates to your environment. This part of loving God is a beautiful, practical kind of love. Get ready to enhance your love for HIm ands your walk with Him as you learn these things.

For love to be true love, your whole being must be in it. This is the beginning of a short series that explains what it looks like when you love God. It begins in the heart. What part does the heart play in love? This message will help you to understand it's role. At the end, you will have a better understanding of what it means to love God. That is one-fourth of the equation.

Someone wanted to know how to obtain eternal life. Jesus told the story of The Good Samaritan. That's because compassion is needed in every age and it goes to every person. Compassion is not selective. Listen closely and try o find your place in this story. Compassion is a basis for joy for the one who receives it and also the one who gives it.

If you gave ever struggled with something in life or maybe you are struggling right now, God has not forgotten you. Jesus always showed compassion on those who were hurting physically with illnesses, spiritually with demons and false teachers and emotionally by selfish leaders. Know that the Christian life is a compassionate life and even by your showing ompassion, you will also find what you need.

How big a part does showing compassion paly in your life? O are you a sympathetic person? Sympathy is a shared feeling with someone but compassion is a call to action from that sympathy. This is why Jesus spent so much time with sinners, because they needed His healing touch of compassion. Jesus showed compassion to all kinds of people and told stories about it as well. His greatest act of compassion can be seen as you visualize Him on the cross dying for your sins. Can you now take the compassion that He showed to you and show it to others?

The world is filled with various kingdoms. And those kingdoms are vying for control over each other. It happens internationally, nationally, socially and even personally when we seek to make our way the dominant way for others. But one day Jesus will come and crush every kingdom and establish His own. This is the basis for hope today as we look to what God is going to do tomorrow. If your present is not that good, hope for the future will make your present better.

The job of the ancient shepherd in Palestine was to feed, lead, care for and protect the sheep. He fought off predators and spent all of his time with them. Jesus comes on the scene and encourages us that He is the Good Shepherd who does the same for us as the shepherd does for the sheep. And Jesus went to the extent that He laid His life down for us sheep. This is what gives us hope for the future because by laying His life down, He atoned for our sins and opened ujp a way to Heaven for those who believe.
