Journaling has become quite a source of encouragement for me. God has used it in my life to help me see His grace and strength in my life. Joshua is now the leader of the Israelites as they continue on their journey to the promised land. He is filling the shoes of a 120-year-old man, Moses. God gives him a few simple commands lead my people, have strength, be of good courage, and meditate on the Book of the Law. His unending, steadfast love seeks us even when we are so wrapped up in our own plans that we fail to see Him and all that He is doing in each moment. On this Valentine's Day, its easy to get caught up in the things you don't have because sometimes, that is all you can see. As believers in Christ, we have to defend the truth that we believe in because it not only strengthens us, but gives way to truth for those around us. For me, it was moments where I was being questioned about my faith that made me realize that I can't just rely on the things that others say. I have to be ready in season and out of season.
