Although Abraham was given the promise to become a father of many nations, he never saw this completely fulfilled in his lifetime. Through his family, he started a legacy of faith by building altars to the Lord wherever he went, which was a pattern passed down to both Isaac and Jacob. In contrast, it may be difficult for us today to think of the generations to come when it seems like we have enough problems of our own. There is a value system that permeates all of humanity and the air we breathe: those with power use it to their own advantage, putting their own interests above others. God has a design for our sexuality, but do we recognize these boundaries as for our good or rules that need to be followed?
