I believe that there are many levels of consideration within this account, worthy of our examination. Yahweh invites us all into the wonderful unfolding of His provision and plans. Sometimes we get to be the one to go and "get" and sometimes we'll be the ones that watch our animal walk away. Are you postured to be a part of Father's provision? Let's find out!

In an age where morals continue to decline and organized religion walks further away from black and white lines, where is a man to turn, if he wants to be found holy and set apart? The answer is clear. We've been shown how to walk. What did Yahweh declare through Moses thousands of years ago? What did the Jerusalem council instruct those coming into the New Covenant to do, and why? And how did the new converts receive the commands that they must follow, in Messiah? "They rejoiced because of its encouragement." For those who truly want to know what the Creator calls good and what He calls evil, we must get outside of today's cultural and religious appropriation and return to the Scriptures. Some commentary and encouragement for those who are hearing the call to come out and be separate. Many biblical accounts record men *starting* with the Torah and the Prophets when revealing the full Gospel. Even Yeshua Himself started here. For example: Luke chapter 24 tells us, "And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, [Yeshua] interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself." What will we do when we discover that much of what we've inherited is found to be lacking or in error? Will we return to the ancient way? Let's find out!

If we look back to the biblical history of righteous men, we often see them willingly confessing that the Creator has become angry with them. In this audio episode, we'll discuss the importance of admitting that sometimes we're not in right standing with Yahweh and are set to receive His righteous anger. Isaiah chapter 12 speaks of a prophesied day when He will comfort His people, that He was angry with, for a time. Are we postured to be these? Let's find out!

Both appear long before the giving of the Law. We see them with Cain and Abel, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and even Moses (among others), before the events of Mt. Sinai. Most of us have inherited a belief that these things were only "for the Jews" but yet we see them long before the specifics of Books like Leviticus and Numbers. So what should we do about this? While many a man has been led astray by other men, that should not be an excuse to write off His using of others to speak to us. The key we'll present is this: discernment. Even here we see Philip starting to share the Gospel, beginning with the Torah and the Prophets. Time and time again the biblical pattern is clear. Make sure the Gospel agrees with what was foretold. Lastly, the humility of the Ethiopian man is of utmost importance. Are we so desperate to know what is true that we too will invite another to sit beside us and guide us into truth? Let's find out!

I'm afraid that in an age where we've become so isolated and individualistic, we're missing the wonder of Father intersecting men in such a way - for His purposes. If we are to properly understand, and fully apply the entire Word, we must be found doing all that we can to rightly divide the Word, and read It in Its entirety. One is that He stated that, and acted as if, He was "above the Sabbath." So was He? Or did He disobey His Father's command to "remember the Sabbath and keep it holy", thereby instituting merely a constant "sabbath rest" now, with no longer a need for a set apart day?
