A Year of Rest

1/1/2026
Update from Daniel: Several years ago I went through a Miracle Year with God, and when I came out of that year, I felt God was saying that I was starting a Miracle Decade. Since that time it's been 6 years. In the Bible the 7th year was a year to let the land rest. With that in mind I feel God is asking me to take a year off from the Abundant Life Blueprint. This nudge came about 2 months ago, and in that time Kelvin Bergsten and I have done a lot of work to pivot our programs, and we feel we have created something that can be a real blessing for you. Here is what to expect this year: (but we have over 1,000 meditations available here) You can join here. A Year of Rest The concept of a Year of Rest finds its origins in the biblical "Sabbath Year" (Leviticus 25). Every seventh year, the land was to lie fallow—no planting, no pruning, and no harvesting. While it sounds counter-intuitive for a farmer, this period allowed the soil to recover nutrients, ultimately leading to a more abundant harvest in the following years. For us today, a Year of Rest isn't about sitting on the couch for 365 days. It is a planned pause designed to: Rest: Rest allows you to be refreshed. Grow: Pursue personal enrichment, new hobbies, or creative projects. Reset: Clarify future goals and recalibrate your internal compass. Why Rest is the Ultimate Productivity Hack It might feel like you’ll fall behind if you stop, but science and experience suggest the opposite. 1. The Power of "Fullness" Grace and blessing flow out of fullness. If your "cup" is empty because you've been grinding non-stop, you have nothing left to give to your family, your business, or your community. Taking a dedicated period of rest ensures you are operating from a place of overflow rather than exhaustion. 2. Sharper Decision-Making and Creativity A tired brain is a foggy brain. Constant work narrows your perspective, while rest provides the "empty space" needed for innovative ideas to emerge. Many of the most successful entrepreneurs find their best ideas only after they've stepped away from the daily grind. How to Install Your Own Rhythms of Rest You don't have to quit your job tomorrow to benefit from these principles. You can start by installing smaller "Sabbath" rhythms: The Weekly Reset: Dedicate one full day a week (a Sabbath) to activities that purely refresh you—whether spending time God, hiking, reading, or family fellowship. The 6-on-1-off Rule: Work hard for six weeks, then take the seventh week as a "light" week with no heavy projects or intense training. Rest In Your Soul: Take moments to pause and slow down during the day as a remembrance that God is the one doing the work through you. Are You Ready for a New You? The transition to install rhythms of rest is a step of faith. It requires trusting that you can achieve more in less time with God's help than you can on your own. In our program The Abundant Life Blueprint we help you install rhythms of rest. Step Out of the Wilderness and Discover Your God Given Purpose (Start Here)

12/27/2025
Are You Stuck in a Spiritual Wilderness? Years ago, I was searching for more. I was running my personal training gym business, but I felt stressed out and was constantly toiling away in my mind, trying to figure everything out. I knew there had to be a better way to live and more to life . It’s a common feeling. You know you have potential, you know you’re meant for more, but you feel stuck—like you’re wandering in a spiritual wilderness, unable to break through the obstacles holding you back. If that sounds like you, this message is your starting line. This is the journey of how my friend Kelvin and I went from feeling stuck to developing a system for creating real life transformation, and how you can start today. The One Verse That Changed Everything My journey started when I stumbled upon a simple practice: reading one chapter from the Book of Proverbs every day . This led me to Proverbs 13:22, which says: "A good man leaves an inheritance for his children's children." That one verse changed my life . It set me on a journey to think about the most valuable inheritance I could pass on to future generations. Money can be spent or wasted, but wisdom, teaching, training, and systems could have a lasting impact across multiple generations . My goal became clear: to pass on wisdom and systems for every area of life—not just health and fitness, but spirituality, mindset, purpose, family, and finances . The Transformation: Moving from Pain to Purpose For 12 years, I tweaked, tested, and refined this approach until it became what we now call the Abundant Life Blueprint . But the real test came when I shared the core system with my friend, Kelvin. Kelvin, a former college athlete who was leading a large business operation of around 400 people, came to me initially with severe neck pain . I had written a book called Cracking Heaven's Code, which packaged health and fitness information from a biblical perspective . Kelvin was dealing with chronic pain (level 7, 24/7) that was affecting every ounce of his being, and he was struggling . When we started working together, I realized that combining the spiritual and mental aspects with his physical training could make a huge difference . Kelvin was the first person to implement the system with me, and the results were transformational: Physical Healing: Kelvin went from suffering severe neck pain and being unable to walk one mile to completing a 100-mile hike on the Appalachian Trail . God transformed and healed him . Mental Breakthrough: Kelvin had been wanting to write a book for seven years, and within a couple of weeks of implementing the program, he was literally writing . The roadblock was removed . Emotional Stability: After struggling to maintain weight loss, Kelvin became stable, even during travel, which would normally cause him to regain weight . These aren't just one-time results; they are the fruit of a system built on faith, focus, and consistency . The Abundant Life Blueprint: A System for Transformation The core of our program is built on understanding God’s timing and following the pattern He used to lead people out of the wilderness and into the promised land . Phase 1: The New You (40 Days of Installation) The wilderness is not a bad place; it's a time of preparation and transformation to prepare you for what God has next . Our first phase, The New You, mirrors the biblical number 40 (often tied to preparation) and is focused on installing your new identity in Christ . The Problem: You are a new creation in Christ, but you likely still have old programming, patterns, and habits that keep resurfacing . The Solution: We help you get crystal clear on who God created you to be and what you want out of life . We provide a document preloaded with over 100 scriptural promises for every area of life to stand on that you'll customize to your unique vision. The Commitment: The amazing part? This transformation doesn't take hours. It requires just...

We can transform our inner world by renewing our mind to God's love and truth. We can transform our home, workplace, etc by creating more order and bringing peace and joy into the environment. We can also transform difficult or adverse situations, through God's grace, power, and wisdom that's within us. Here is today's communion meditation. Click Here for the Video and Audio With Christmas approaching I was thinking of John 1:14. It says, "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth." In today's communion we are asking God to help us create transformation and it's a time of gratitude that God sent his Son to dwell among us. The Lord Who Makes You Holy

12/22/2025
Good morning! Today is Memorial Monday - The Financial Accelerator. (You can learn more about the 7 Accelerators here) Mondays are a reminder that a Memorial Portion, just one very small step of faith, can help you remember that God is with you and He's more than enough. One small step of faith can open up a supernatural flow of whatever you need. When Jesus multiplied the fish and loaves, it started with just a little bit of bread and fish. When the widow woman was down to her last meal Elijah had her make him a small cake first. If finances are tight... Give a few dollars. If a relationship is strained... Do one small kind act for the person. If you are pressed for time... Give away a few minutes to someone else. If something looks overwhelming take one small step in that direction. Here is today's communion meditation. Click Here for the Video and Audio In Leviticus 20:8 God said, " I am the LORD, who makes you holy." It is God who makes us holy, and he's given us his Holy Spirit. Hebrews 10:10 says, "we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all." In today's communion we are asking God to help us give a memorial portion that is pleasing to him and to help us understand that He has made us holy once for all through the sacrifice of Jesus. Today's Health and Fitness Tip You may be out of your normal schedule and routines this week. Keep looking for opportunities to add movement, even if it's smaller amounts. I am praying for you. Daniel P.S. Remember the Master is with you, he loves you, and nothing is impossible for him. P.P.S. You can contribute a Financial Memorial Portion here.

Let Your Light Shine

12/19/2025
Good morning! This is the day the Lord has made, let's rejoice in it, and make today a masterpiece! Today is Fellowship Friday - The Love Accelerator 1 John 1:7 says, "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin." To walk in the light is also to walk in love, and the indicator is that we have fellowship with one another. The shortcut to walking in the light is gratitude. If there are any strained relationships, how could you take steps toward restored fellowship today? Let's ask God to help us walk in the light and in fellowship the way he desires. Here is today's communion meditation. Click Here for the Video and Audio We are currently in Hanukkah, which is called the Festival of Lights. During Hanukkah, an additional candle is lit every night as a reminder that our light should be growing brighter and brighter. In Matthew 5:16 Jesus said, "In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven" In today's communion we are asking God to help us walk in greater fellowship and to help our light shine brighter and brighter. Today's Health and Fitness Tip On those days when you don't feel like working out remember that God is supplying the strength and energy, and we can rely on him. On those days I like to start my workouts with a memorial portion. What small movement can I do to get started as a remembrance that God's supply is there. I am praying for you! Daniel P.S. From Disorder to Clarity: Why Order Always Comes First

12/18/2025
Do you ever feel like you’re walking through a thick mental fog? Whether you are trying to discern what God has called you to do, make a difficult decision, or simply get through your day without feeling overwhelmed, a lack of clarity can be paralyzing. The truth is that clarity is not something you find by accident; it is a byproduct of position and order. Whenever you increase order in your life, you automatically increase your clarity. Step 1: Walk in the Light The first step toward clarity is learning to recognize if you are "walking in the light". In the darkness, you are groping around, confused, and stumbling over things because you can't see the path. In the light, everything becomes visible. Check Your Fellowship: The biggest symptom of walking in the light is having fellowship with God and others. Broken relationships act as a major blockage to clarity. Restore Peace: Use humility, forgiveness, or repentance to mend relationships. You must do your part to restore peace, even if the other person stays in the dark. Monitor Your Symptoms: If you feel stressed, confused, or low-energy, you are likely "out of position". Feelings of joy, gratitude, and fullness are signs that you are back in the light. Step 2: Do What You Know to Do We often seek high-level clarity for the future while ignoring the things right in front of us. Procrastination creates a mental "blockage" that eats away at your clarity. Clear the Blockages: Identify the small things you’ve been putting off—emails, chores, or minor tasks. Take Action: When you chip away at the things you know you should be doing, it removes the weight from your mind and opens the door for higher-level insights. Start Small: Even a five-minute task or a single physical movement (like one air squat) can break the cycle of stagnation. Step 3: The Science of Clarity (The Liquid Crystal Method) Clarity follows a specific scientific principle modeled by liquid crystals, think LCD display on your phone screen. Liquid crystals have the ability to be highly flexible and adaptable(liquid) while also being very structured. We all need this same ability to be adaptable but structured. The Metaphor: When liquid crystals are disordered, they are cloudy and opaque. When they are ordered, they become perfectly transparent. Set Boundaries: For liquid crystals to become ordered they must first have boundaries. You must create boundaries around your time and your wake-up routine to protect your mental state. Seek Alignment: Once liquid crystals have a boundary then the must be aligned. This can be done in two different ways. One is to rub a cloth in only one direction along the glass. This creates small scratches or grooves that the crystals will use to align. The other method is to shine a polarized light across the glass. The light method is superior, and it is symbolic for us, in that we should be aligning ourselves with the light, with the truth of God's word. Defending Your Order Order is not a one-time event; it must be defended. Because of entropy, everything in life naturally tends toward disorder if left alone. You must play "defense" daily by protecting your priorities. The Priority Blueprint: God First: Staying connected to the source of light. Yourself: You cannot give out of an empty cup; you must stay healthy spiritually, mentally, and physically. Relationships: Spouse, children, and then others. Work and Ministry: These follow only after the primary relationships are in order. Are you ready to move from a fog into the light? Clarity is waiting for you on the other side of order. This is the candle that is used to light all the other candles. This reminded me of a couple of scriptures. Proverbs 20:27 says, "The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly." John 14:26 says, "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and remind you of all that I said to you." Hannukah

12/13/2025
Good morning, This is the day the Lord has made, let's rejoice in it and make today a masterpiece! Today is Speak Life Saturday (The Faith Accelerator) (You can learn more about the 7 Accelerators here) Focus on speaking life today... With the words that you speak and the tone you speak with. Life and death are in the power of the tongue, and out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Let your speech always be seasoned with grace. Here is this week's Yearly Cycle communion meditation. Click Here for the Video and Audio The eight days of Hanukkah start tomorrow night. Hanukkah, known as the feast of dedication and also the festival of lights, is a time when God wants to see a higher level of dedication to our gift. It is a time to firm up our commitment to what he has called us to do. To commit means that we go all in and don’t look back. The number 8 is symbolic of new beginnings, and Hanukkah as an 8-day feast when we firm up our commitment to what God is calling us to do and embark on a new beginning. Hanukkah is not technically mentioned in the Bible, but some Jewish scholars say it is hinted at. The feast is a remembrance of when the Jewish people revolted and took back control of the temple. When they restored the temple, there was only enough olive oil to light the lamps for one night, but God performed a miracle and made the light last for eight nights. The miracle of Hanukkah is a reminder that when we dedicate our lives to what he has called us to do, it may look impossible. It may look like we don’t have enough. But God can perform the miraculous. He can take the little we do have and do wonders with it. Each night during Hanukkah, a candle is lit. It starts with one candle, and each night an additional candle is lit. This is a reminder that our light is supposed to be getting brighter every day, a reminder that we are supposed to be growing and getting better every day. In today's communion we are asking God to help us speak life and to help use navigate this season the way he desires. I am praying for you. Daniel P.S. The 2025 Yearly Cycle Calendar is below.

The Simple Daily Choice That Makes You Great (Start Here)

12/11/2025
In our rush toward big goals and getting things done, it’s easy to overlook the true source of greatness: the simple, daily choices you make. The path to becoming truly great isn't about one heroic leap, but about stringing together small, intentional moments of excellence every single day. This post will explore how you can immediately start implementing "The Greatness Standard" in your life, using the powerful principle of the "Memorial Portion" to transform your chores, work, and relationships. Why True Greatness Isn't Found in Heroics When we think of "greatness," we often picture a CEO, a championship athlete, or a world-famous philanthropist. But the foundation for that kind of success is built long before the spotlight hits. As the saying goes, "He who is faithful with little will be faithful with much, [and] will be given much". The quickest way to get to the next level in any area of your life is to make the most of your current level where you are right now. The core idea is this: You can make a choice to do something great today. Doing the dishes is a regular thing, but you can choose to do them in a great way, with excellence and presence. Cleaning your room or doing your homework can be treated as mundane chores, or as opportunities to practice the habits of excellence. Showing up in your family can be passive, or you can choose to be present and great for them. It’s in these small, unsung moments that you build confidence and establish a standard that others—including God—begin to notice. The Solomon Principle: People Notice the Small Things The Bible gives a perfect example of this in the story of King Solomon. God had promised to make him great. When the Queen of Sheba came to visit, what impressed her wasn't just the sheer size of his kingdom, but the details. She observed: The way his table was set. How his servants were dressed. She saw all the little things that demonstrated his standard of excellence. She realized that the greatness she been told about was far more impressive in person because of the high standard he applied to every detail. If you apply a high standard to the "little things"—like taking the time to properly fold the corners of a game box or picking up a small piece of trash on the floor—you reveal a deep, trustworthy character. Overcoming Procrastination with the "Memorial Portion" So, how do you start applying this greatness when you feel overwhelmed, lack time, or just want to procrastinate? The answer is to use the principle of the "Memorial Portion". In the Old Testament, the "Memorial Portion" was just a small handful of grain that the priest burned as an offering to God. It was a tiny first step—a remembrance of a greater covenant. Today, your Memorial Portion is one small, single step that you take in the right direction as a remembrance that God's grace is more than enough. Here are ways you can apply this simple choice: For Overwhelm: If you have a huge project and don't know where to start, do the first five minutes of work with total excellence and presence. For Motivation: If you don't want to do your workout or a certain task, do one repetition with perfect form, or write one paragraph with focus and presence. For Lack of Time: If you feel too busy to slow down and do something well, take a minute to do one small, right thing (like putting something away or folding the box neatly) as a remembrance that God gives you more than enough time. For Relationships: Instead of complaining about a spouse's pet peeve, take a moment to cherish them by doing that one thing in a great way with no expectations. The miracles of the Bible—multiplying fish and loaves, sustaining Elijah and the widow—all started with a small act of faith, a small beginning, or a "Memorial Portion". Be Quick, But Don't Hurry: The Time Paradox You might think that doing things in a great way takes too much time. You’re right—it often requires you to slow down and be more...

In His Unfailing Love

12/10/2025
Good morning! Today is Work in the Flow Wednesday ( The Health & Time Accelerator) (You can learn more about the 7 Accelerators here) Wednesday is a reminder to work in flow with the Holy Spirit... Our indicators are peace and joy. Health is a frequency, and working with peace and joy changes the internal environment. Think about how much time we waste worrying, complaining, feeling down, venting, etc. What could we accomplish if we reinvested that time into productive work with God. Focus on the emotional state you do everything in today, and if possible, work deeply on things that will really make a difference. Here is today's communion meditation. Click Here for the Video and Audio Exodus 15:13 says, " In your unfailing love you will lead the people you have redeemed. In your strength you will guide them to your holy dwelling." The word for "unfailing love," in the original Hebrew is hesed, which means a covenant commitment to loving kindness, mercy, and favor. This word is often translated as steadfast love. God has made a covenant commitment to do good for us continually, in the blood of his Jesus. In today's communion we are asking God to help us work in the flow with him and it's a time of gratitude for his hesed. Today's Health and Fitness Tip The other day I was preparing to do a set of lunges, but I really didn't want to do them. So, I decided to do one great or beautiful rep with presence. And soon I was on my 12th rep. When something looks challenging how can you do one beautiful rep. I think you'll be amazed at where it leads. I am praying for you. Daniel P.S. Remember the Master is with you, he loves you, and nothing is impossible for him. P.P.S. You can contribute a Financial Memorial Portion here.

Set Your Heart at Rest

12/9/2025
Good morning! Today is Transformation Tuesday (The Family & Order Accelerator) (You can learn more about the 7 Accelerators here) Tuesday is a reminder that the way to get to the next level in anything is to make the most of your current level. Make it a goal to transform every environment you go into... We can transform our spiritual environment by beholding the glory of God. Click Here for the Video and Audio 1 John 3:18-19 says, "Little children, let us love not in word and speech, but in action and truth. And by this we will know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in His presence." Yesterday we talked about how God's presence and his rest are connected. In today's communion meditation we are asking God to help us create transformation today and to help us set our hearts at rest in his presence. Today's Health and Fitness Tip Training the feet, ankles, and calves first in a workout increases circulation for the rest of the workout. I am praying for you. Daniel P.S. Remember the Master is with you, he loves you, and nothing is impossible for him. P.P.S. You can contribute a Financial Memorial Portion here.

Presence and Rest

12/8/2025
Click Here for the Video and Audio In Exodus 33:14 God said to Moses, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” I think presence and rest are connected. In today's communion we are asking God to help us give a memorial portion that is pleasing to him, and to help us increase our awareness of His presence so that we can rest in our soul. Today's Health and Fitness Tip If you are ever dreading an exercise focus on executing one repetition beautifully. This will increase your presence and once the one rep is complete, you'll probably want to do another one. I am praying for you. Daniel P.S. Remember the Master is with you, he loves you, and nothing is impossible for him. P.P.S. You can contribute a Financial Memorial Portion here.

God's Stretching

12/6/2025
Good morning, This is the day the Lord has made, let's rejoice in it and make today a masterpiece! Today is Speak Life Saturday (The Faith Accelerator) (You can learn more about the 7 Accelerators here) Focus on speaking life today... With the words that you speak and the tone you speak with. Life and death are in the power of the tongue, and out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Let your speech always be seasoned with grace. Here is this week's Yearly Cycle communion meditation. Click Here for the Video and Audio We are in a time of the year when God likes to shift and reposition things in our life. He does this because he loves us and wants to move us to a higher level of who he created us to be. But when he shifts and repositions things in our life it can feel like he is stretching us. God knows that he must put us into positions that stretch us for enough time to create the change that he wants to see, and he knows how to put just the right amount of stretch on us so that nothing tears and it produces results. The key to getting stretched is to learn to relax into the stretch. Relax and yield to him as he goes to work. In today's communion we are asking God to help us speak life and to relax during this season. I am praying for you. Daniel

Overcoming Bad Habits: The Power of the New You in Christ

12/5/2025
Overcoming Bad Habits: The Power of the New You in Christ 🙏 You are a new creation in Christ. The new has come! Yet, let's face it: those bad habits often try to resurface, triggered by the pressures and stress of life. These persistent old patterns can leave you feeling stuck, but the key to overcoming them isn't in focusing on the failure—it's in harnessing God's power within you to focus on who you are truly meant to be. The journey to freedom requires intentionality, commitment, and a shift from external control to an inside-out transformation, rooted in a new pattern of thinking and action. 🔑 Focusing on Your New Identity The first step in leaving behind bad habits is to get crystal clear on your new identity in Christ. Focusing on who you want to be—the "new me"—and the godly habits you want to install is more effective than constantly dwelling on the bad habits you're trying to fix. Change Your Focus: The more you try to fix bad habits, the worse they often get. Instead, focus on the positive person you are becoming and the actions you want to take. The Power of the New Creation: Your true self is the new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), equipped with God's power to show up on a regular basis. This new life is already here; your job is to align your habits with that reality. Renew Your Mind: Transformation begins with renewing your mind (Romans 12:2). This means actively replacing negative thoughts with godly thoughts and meditating on God's Word to shift your focus away from unhealthy desires. The Three-Step Process to Overcome Triggers When life pushes your "buttons" and you slip back into an old pattern, try this simple, powerful three-step process to get back on track: 1. Forgiveness on Three Levels Slipping up can lead to feelings of condemnation, which can keep you stuck in a bad pattern. To break the cycle, forgiveness must flow in three directions: Receive God's Forgiveness: Humbly go to God and receive the forgiveness He freely offers. Acknowledge that you missed it and ask for His mercy. Forgive Yourself: This is often the hardest part. You must give yourself grace and stop beating yourself up. God's forgiveness and grace should flow through you, not be blocked by self-condemnation. Reconcile with Others: If your actions hurt someone, let forgiveness and grace flow out to the people around you. 2. Give Thanks After forgiving and receiving forgiveness, give thanks that the power God put within you is more than enough to reprogram the old pattern and help the new you show up. 3. Ask God to Help You Grow Pray simply: "God, help me grow what You put within me," so that the new way of doing things becomes rooted, grounded, and embedded in your heart. This invites God's active power to take over your efforts. 🛠️ The Power of Physical Triggers: Creating New Habits Overcoming bad habits isn't just a mental exercise; it's about integrating your spirit, soul, and body through physical action. Just reminding yourself mentally is far less effective than using a physical trigger—something you do that completes the loop in your body and mind, creating a powerful memory and new pattern. The goal is to provide a physical action that sends a feedback signal into your system, strengthening the new, desired habit. This concept aligns with how God often set up physical reminders for His people—like placing symbols on doorposts—to keep His promises and covenant ever-present in their minds. For instance, taking Communion is one of the most powerful triggers, as it physically engages us in the spiritual remembrance of our covenant with God by giving us something physical to do. Creating Positive Triggers in Your Daily Life You can transform mundane or challenging moments into powerful reminders by attaching a spiritual truth or desired behavior to a specific physical action: Starting the Day with Rejoicing: When the water hits you in the shower, let that be your signal to declare, "This is the day...
