When God Disrupts Your Comfort with Brenen Beeler

4/23/2026
As the pastor of a church in California, Brenen Beeler was safe, secure, and respected—but he wasn’t truly content. When he was presented with a new opportunity at Cavalry Chapel Eagle in Idaho, it took a great deal of prayer—and numerous signs from God—to convince him it was worth taking a chance on a new church in an entirely different part of the country. But God soon started paving the way for Brenen and his family, and now, as the pastor of a thriving church in a rapidly growing community, Brenen testifies that it was “the best decision we ever made in our lives.” Brenen recounts that story to Nate Dewberry this week and relates some of the messages he’s sharing with men in his congregation searching for meaning: listen to your feelings of “Godly discontentment”; be humble enough to recognize that all our strength comes from God alone; and make sure you have an “armor bearer” who has your back and can recognize your potential weaknesses—and be that armor bearer for others. Segments/chapters 0:00 Intro/The beginnings of a major life change 7:20 Wrestling with God’s plan 15:25 God makes everything fall into place 22:32 “The best decision we ever made in our lives” 25:55 When you’re safe and secure, but not content 33:54 How Brenen’s church is reaching out to men in search of meaning 40:04 Locking arms as “armor bearers” and facing challenges together 48:48 Closing thoughts: What matters the most in Brenen’s life Find community, deepen your faith, join the brotherhood for free today at theredeemed.com/join. From Broken Mess to Metal Musician with Trevor Tyson

4/16/2026
Off stage, Trevor Tyson is a thoughtful, soft-spoken person devout in his Christian faith. On stage, he’s the bellowing frontman of the heavy metal band Heal the Hurt. But those two personas aren’t at odds with one another—they’re just different voices expressing a similar message. “I know what it’s like to be that kid who has a hard time hearing the pastor say something, but can listen to someone scream about it,” he says. Trevor freely admits his music isn’t for everyone, but beneath the screaming vocals and thrashing guitars lies a message of empathy—and hope—for people feeling depressed, hopeless, and alone. Trevor talks with Nate Dewberry this week about the mental health journey that inspired the creation of his band, the vital need for men to have people they can share their emotions with, and how Heal the Hurt’s musicians stay true to their Christian convictions while playing the bar scene. Segments/chapters 0:00 Introduction 1:04 Trevor’s first panic attack and the search for meaning that it spawned 10:44 The methods, good and bad, Trevor used to respond to his panic attacks 18:53 How Heal the Hurt came into being 22:50 Discussing the meaning of the song “Suffocating on Sorrow” 26:17 The importance of confiding our feelings and confessing our sins 32:58 Mentors and accountability 39:33 A Christian rock band? What Will the Next Generation Inherit from You? with Ken Polk

4/2/2026
The website for Arlington Family Offices lists “$16B assets under stewardship” and “870 souls under management.” Those word choices were very intentional on the part of founder Ken Polk. Ken doesn’t see his job as merely making wealth grow for its own sake; he wants to help families put some meaning into how they earn, invest, and spend their money, building a legacy of faithful stewardship in the process. Ken talks with Nate Dewberry this week about the Biblical tenets and stewardship principles that he’s put to good use both with his business and in his own family, advising, “unity is the most undervalued asset.” He also offers reassurance and advice for men who are struggling financially—and for those who are doing OK, but haven’t yet committed themselves to taking a longer-term view. Segments/chapters 0:00 “Money without meaning is meaningless” 5:41 A different way of looking at purpose 9:54 Ken’s faith background and how he developed his worldview 12:41 The “spirit” of money and Ken’s three laws of wealth preservation 22:11 Stewarding the gifts God gives us 29:37 What Ken’s passing on to his own kids, and how he’s doing it 35:17 Advice for those suffering difficult financial times 40:33 Advice for men who are doing OK, but not considering legacy 42:54 Closing thoughts on perseverance and legacy Find community, deepen your faith, join the brotherhood for free today at theredeemed.com/join. Why Easter Should Still Change Your Life

4/2/2026
It’s easy to gloss over Easter as “just another holiday.” We assume we understand Christ’s resurrection and move on. But the resurrection isn’t something we outgrow. It’s something we grow into. In this week’s episode, Nate Dewberry and founder Paul Amos discuss why our understanding of Christ’s resurrection must continue to deepen. No matter how qualified or successful we become, we are still broken inside. And trying to manage an outward performance is exhausting. But Jesus didn’t call us to perform. He called us to follow. And real freedom begins when we stop striving and start surrendering. The reality of Easter is that Christ died for our sins long before we committed them. Rest in light of the resurrection. And join The Redeemed! Men grow when we have a place to be honest, known, and can walk with other brothers in Christ. From False Fronts to True Faith with Blake Prime

3/19/2026
After experiencing a spiritual awakening following his wife’s miscarriage, Blake Prime says he was “on fire” for the Lord. But passion without depth can fade. Blake’s focus on growing his business and presenting a successful image slowly pulled him from that righteous path. Blake shares his spiritual journey with Nate Dewberry in this week’s episode, along with what he’s learned about being a better husband and father and about overcoming moments of doubt. A former Division I college football player who now leads men in faith and fitness, he also offers his perspective on the connection between spiritual and physical health—and shares daily disciplines for strengthening both. What I Learned from Chick-fil-A with Chuck Bradford

3/19/2026
Right off the bat, Chuck Bradford admits his career hasn’t always gone according to plan—his plan, anyway. But Chuck says God’s hand has guided him to places he needed to go, including Chick-fil-A, where he spent nearly 20 years absorbing principles of leadership that have changed his life. Chuck relays some of those principles to Nate Dewberry in this week’s episode, along with advice for quieting the inner doubts that nag at us, and the values that separate companies that care for their customers from those that are just trying to make a fast buck. With more than four decades of leadership experience spanning Delta Airlines, entrepreneurial consulting, and 28 years at Chick-fil-A’s corporate office, Chuck brings deep insight into organizational leadership, change management, and executive development. After navigating seasons of unemployment, financial uncertainty, reinvention, and corporate influence, Chuck has learned firsthand that what you believe ultimately determines how you lead. Today, he serves business owners and executives through consulting and executive coaching, helping leaders close the gap between expectations and reality while grounding their decisions in biblical principles.
