A Permanent Contract

This audiobook is narrated by a digital voice. I'VE ALWAYS been captivated by the narrative of Cain and Abel, Adam and Eve's first two sons. It's possible they were twins. Eve, according to the Bible, conceived twice and delivered twice. Now Adam recognized Eve as his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain, declaring, "I have obtained a man from the Lord." Then she carried his brother Abel one more (Gen. 4:1-2). They may have had similar appearances, but they pursued two different careers. Cain was a tiller of the ground, while Abel was a sheep keeper (Gen. 4:2).
