I'm over the moon excited to be unveiling and sharing the 8 Feminine Leadership Archetypes with you in this 10th season as a way for 'how' we can move through these transformational times. These archetypes are a reflection of what happens when we bring feminine presence into leadership, and value it. They can help us to stay clear and centered + strong in playing our part + empowered to wisely create realities that are rooted in wholeness, sustainability, freedom, harmony, love, connection + possibility... even if the mainstream world is reflecting a different reality. I developed the Feminine Leadership Archetype model and system in 2018, based on 15 years of in depth study in feminine archetypal energy that spans across cultures, the energy is planetary. These leadership archetypes describe feminine presence and power - which is often not valued, compensated or even acknowleged within the systems we work, live and operate in. Although it is the energy that often holds everything together. It's the invisible things people rely on us for. It's what creates environments and cultures that foster people's growth, creativity and connectivity. The archetypes give us language, symbol, metaphor, image and a sense of the energy within us we can access and apply. Coupled with traditional more masculine leadership energy, we then can create and model systems and power that reflect balanced leadership. Today we begin our 10th season and 10th year. This episode will get us all centered in our stake - focus and intention - of what we are creating and why. To root us firmly in our power to co-create new realities on this planet now, at this time. In the ways we are uniquely designed to do so ... in the ecosystems we have influence over (vs. trying to do it all or feeling like we don't have the power to do anything). Our stakes for this season are: Re-Imaginging the way we and the world work, when the feminine leads. (from the inside out) Embracing the power, wisdom & influence of our personal leadership to co-create a better, brighter world for ourselves + those we touch + generations to come, through our voices, choices & presence within the "ecosystems" we live, lead and love. We focus on what we can influence: Focusing on the ecosystems we have the power and influence within - ourselves, our 1:1 relationships, our smaller systems like our teams / families --->> which then influences the larger organizations we work in, communities we participate and live in (local, social and global) ---> which then shifts and creates the culture, society and consciousness on the planet. We remember and embrace: All non-natural systems on the planet were created by humans which means we as humans (which you and I are) have the power to create realities, systems, ways of being, working, relating, living, succeeding, etc... that support all people and planet to thrive and prosper for now and for generations to come. Our 10th season is called: Fierce Grace, which is the simplest way I can express what balanced, whole leadership and embodied power looks and feels like. Fierce Grace is the integrated power and presence that lives within our human heart. When we can access this full range of power and presence, we embody an essence that can shift a room or situation just by our presence. We are a force for change and elevation, because we are deeply rooted in ourselves, our essence, our innate wisdom and our balance, rooted truth. We will use 4 of the 6 realms of Elevated Leadership to create a structure for us: I'll share with you the 8 Feminine Leadership Archetypes on the 8 'turns of the year' - solstices, equinoxes and the cross quarter points. We'll start with the archetype of the CREATRIX in our first full episode, #271. And then we'll see what else flows in along the way. Are you clearing your emotional and energetic fields - consistently? Anger and grief are good human emotions. They have the potential to open up so much for us – individually and collectively – which can lead to healing, breaking down barriers, and breaking through to better realities. The problem is that most humans weren't taught how to express anger or grief in healthy ways, so it comes out sideways in distorted ways, or it gets stuffed down until we blow up or get sick. Sometimes we are the receiver of that big emotional eruption and other times we are the "unleasher" or "erupter" on someone else. For all the co creators, change makers, re-imaginers, global citizens on planet earth, and those who choose to be part of creating a brighter world and better ways of living & being we know deep down are possible... this is for you. We've been told "You are the ones you've been waiting for." There is no person here to 'save' us. Who we are and how we live is how we elevate reality - for ourselves, those we care for and guide, and this planet. This is Personal Leadership. And it's essential, and challenging. When we find ourselves in a time of intensity over extended periods of time, wisdom says ... it's wise (and essential) to pause and consider what we need to cultivate, replenish and retain our life force (our energy) and radiance (our light). I'm suggesting that now is such a time ... not to pull the covers over our heads, or think one vacation will wipe away the tiredness ... but also not to keep pushing forward believing there is some magic moment all will be well or our work will be done. But instead ... we choose to stay aware and awake to what's happening in our world, while at the same time pulling our focus into our own personal ecosystem and what we need to replenish, now. Like a dusty, tired car that has been on a long journey... it actually needs more than just gas to fill up... it needs a wash, a vacum, likely some air freshner and a reprieve .... so do we. So here's my question... what do you need in the next several weeks or months (this summer/winter season or next 40 days) to replenish your radiance and life force ... on all 4 realms... mind, body, heart and spirit? AND... what do you need to give yourself permission to take the time and space, to allocate the resources, and to pull back to 70% on some things, so you have that 30% to focus on what cultivates deeper reserves of energy. So you have the inner resources to create what's next - for yourself, those you guide and what matters to you in this world. This episode #268: Permission to Replenish Your Radiance, is an intentional creative process + a full permission slip to 'do' what replenishes and lifts your spirit ... nourishes and fills your heart... clears and inspires your mind ... revitalizes and soothes your body... in the next time span of your choosing. Consider this: When we consciously cultivate our lifeforce and radiance, we create longevity of wellbeing + the ability to dance through intensity, as a paradox and path vs. a polarity and problem to fix. As co-creators one of our roles is to understand that the current cultures, societies and systems are human created. Which means you and I - since we are human - have the capacity and responsibility - to embody the audacity to re-imagine how we and this world works. Now. Even if it appears we have little power to 'do' anything ... as Dorothy from Wizard of Oz realized after seeking wisdom and power outside herself: "The power was within me all along." One way we 'do' this to flex our "re-imagining muscles" through conversating and imaging possibilityinto reality. Today I'm inviting us to point our collective energy towards one thing we already know about what a healthy, prospering, compassionate culture looks like. Imagine this: We live in a world who actively engages with and values the 'elders' of the society. People who have lived long enough in a conscious way on this planet to embody wisdom through lived experienced...Good humans who share what they've learned for the evolution and wellbeing of humanity, the planet and all life on it. In this "Tea with an Elder" episode, I invited Pele Rouge Chadima, co-founder of the Center for Timeless Earth Wisdom, (and one of my primary wisdom teachers for two decades) to discuss Timeless Earth Wisdom and its relevance to current times ... including: how we can use the wisdom of "the natural laws" for navigating and guiding our way through. It's an invitation from Life: Humans get your act together and come back into the beauty of life itself, into the flow of life, into the patterns of life. Humans are but one instrument in the ongoing orchestra of life. Our job is to keep ourselves in tune, to know who we are and to do what's needed to keep ourselves in tune, and then play accordingly with the rest of life. We don't have to know everything. We don't have to be responsible for everything. Our job is to be the clearest instrument we can be. Change is a process, not an event. Life is a process. We tend to think of it as events. Like, how do I do this? How do I change that? Rather than how do I embody within myself the life that I want to live? How do I embody whatever my understanding or beliefs are about the laws of life? How do I live that today, knowing that I'm not going to be perfect, and that some days it's like: "Okay, I surrender." In changing times, we need wisdom, insight, tools and practices to what I call "stay harmonized" - aka centered, sustained, empowered, clear, connected, calm, radiant, rooted on the inside no matter what chaos is happening on the outside. Compassion is one of the most powerful energies we have as leaders of our own lives as well as in our teams, families, organizations, communities, projects and the society we co-create. But compassion is also one of those things that can feel so vast that we don’t know quite how to employ it – especially in realms like business, our work projects, or in situations that trigger our own defense mechanisms and sense of safety. One of my super powers is taking big, vast concepts like compassion and breaking them down so we can practically access and use this power in ways that elevate and influence the fields of interaction we find ourselves — within ourselves, with others, the world or a situation we find ourselves in. Between 2010-2015 I did a deep dive into the “energy” of compassion – to understand it and break it down into what I call the 8 Facets of Compassion. I’ve been practicing and teaching these 8 facets ever since, not as a perfection to live up to, but as a practice and a strategy to come home to. As I look around at the tools, perspectives, practices that can give us super power NOW to survive, stabilize, and elevate ourselves, and the people, projects, and systems we lead, love and influence, COMPASSION is at the top of the list. At the start of every lunar new year or about three weeks into the calendar year, I tune in to this inquiry "What is the wisdom that can guide us forward into the next year cycle?" First I we look at the "meta/macrocosm" bigger cycles and patterns happening that we are all a part of. Then we zone in to the "personal/microcosm" to discern how we set ourselves up with the support, structure, and strategies ... this is where our personal power and leadership lives. In this episode, we dive into the macro energies - which are bigger than ever this year. Which is why we are going to lean into of the best wisdom tools and ancient science modalities I know to navigate changing times and the unknown - Evolutionary Astrology. To gain some insight on: What does this all mean? How do we be? The macro energies are invisible to our naked eye, but if we have access to langauge for the invisible, and open up our perception to our higher mind and innate knowing, we start to see the bigger patterns at play.
