Auston Matthews opened the scoring for the Maple Leafs, his first goal since returning to the Leafs lineup. Lukas Reichel got the Hawks on the board early in the 3rd period with his third goal of the season, but Chicago allowed Fraser Minten to score just 21 seconds later, a pattern that has been far too common for the Blackhawks recently.
