Description:

Mom Group Chat is a podcast for moms who are not perfect, but trying their best. We’re three best friends who have spent the past two years blowing up each other's phones for honest conversation around how our lives took a full 180 in the blink of an eye. We’re tired, we’re covered in yogurt, we’re obsessed with our baby’s chubby cheeks, we’re happiest alone in the car, and we’re trying to make sense of it all in our group chat. Join us as we take the conversation from the phone to the mic and dive into topics like mom guilt, family dynamics, pregnancy and fertility, healthy coping mechanisms 🧘🏻‍♀️, not so healthy coping mechanisms 🍷, female friendships 💞, trying to find one *single* pair of jeans that work for your postpartum body, and so much more. We’ll have guests, experts, and hear from our community because it takes a village, ya’ll. Bring your sense of humor because if you’re not laughing through motherhood, you’re probably crying. The only people that understand what it’s really like to be a mom, are other moms. So, hand the kids to dad for a few and welcome to our Mom Group Chat.

EP 141: All I want for Mother's Day is the Summer House reunion

4/21/2026
This episode is a true hodgepodge in the best way. We came in ready to talk all things Mother’s Day… and we did. From our personal “ideal day” formula to the pressure that somehow turns it into a day that still revolves around everyone else. We get into the expectations, the guilt, and what we actually want Mother’s Day to feel like. And then… things took a turn. We dive headfirst into the Summer House drama (West and Amanda, obviously), sharing our takes, our shock, and the opinions we feel very strongly about. AND for absolutely no reason at all… we end up in a full Titanic deep dive. Because why not. Also in the mix: It’s a little motherhood, a little Bravo, a little pop culture spiral… and very much a representation of where our brains are at right now. EP 140: April Catch Up

4/14/2026
This week’s episode is a true April catch-up… and it’s one of those conversations that feels like a deep exhale and a group hug at the same time. Candace shares all about the girls’ joint birthday party at their house—what worked, what didn’t, and the sweet chaos of celebrating both girls together. She also recaps their recent trip to the Disney water park, including the fun, the logistics, and what it’s really like doing a water park with little kids. Whitney opens up about the passing of her grandmother and shares what this loss has been like for her. It’s a tender moment in the episode, and a really honest look at grief, family, and processing big emotions… especially when you’re not someone who typically shares them out loud. We also get into our Easter recaps and have a very real conversation about holiday burnout. By the time Easter rolls around, we are… tired. We talk about the pressure, the expectations, and what we’re starting to rethink when it comes to holidays as moms. To wrap it up, we chat about upcoming trips—Candace heading to San Diego and Whitney going to the beach—and all the mixed emotions that come with getting away. The excitement, the anticipation, and of course… the anxiety of leaving your kids and stepping out of your routine. It’s a little bit of everything this week—joy, grief, burnout, excitement—and we’re just talking through it like we always do. EP 139: Out Of The Baby Phase

3/31/2026
This week’s episode is a warm, cozy one. We’re soaking in this stage of motherhood and talking about how much we’re genuinely loving these ages. There’s something really special about being out of the baby phase and into a season where things feel a little more fun, a little more interactive, and honestly… a little more us again. Before we get into all of that, Candace shares a very real behind-the-scenes look at prepping for Alice and Evie’s birthday party. From the mental load to the never-ending to-do list, it’s a full vent session on what actually goes into making the magic happen. And of course, major shoutout to Vinny for absolutely showing up and putting in the work to bring it all together. On this episode: If you’re in this season too or looking forward to it, this one will make you want to hug your kids a little tighter and remind you that some of the sweetest days are happening right now 💛 Keep up with the Moms and join the conversation on our socials: 📸 Instagram: @‌momgroupchat 🎵 TikTok: @‌momgroupchat Questions/comments/need to vent? EP 138: The Values Bridge

3/25/2026
This week on Mom Group Chat, we’re diving deeper into the Values Bridge Test by Suzy Welch and actually putting it to the test ourselves. After talking about it in last week’s episode, we each took the assessment and…wow. Let’s just say it gave us a lot to think about. We’re breaking down our results, where we overlap, where we’re totally different, and how it reflects in our lives as moms, partners, and business owners. It sparked some really honest conversations and helped us understand ourselves (and each other) on a whole new level. If you’ve been feeling a little off, unsure, or just craving more alignment in your life, this episode will hit. On this episode: We highly recommend taking the test for yourself. This week we’re joined by Suzy Welch—3x New York Times bestselling author and expert on clarity and decision-making—and we take everything she teaches and run it through the lens of motherhood. Because let’s be honest… becoming a mom can completely shake your sense of identity. We dive into values—what they actually are, how to define them, and why so many moms feel off when they’re not living in alignment with them. This conversation is for anyone who feels like they’ve lost a piece of themselves and wants a way to reconnect, make more aligned decisions, and create a life that actually feels good. 💬 In this episode: Follow Suzy Welch Buy her bestselling book, "Becoming You", here: https://amzn.to/4bfiWG2 Take the Values Bridge test: https://thevaluesbridge.com/ USE CODE: MomGroupChat20 for 20% off your results! EP 136: March Catch Up

3/10/2026
This week on Mom Group Chat, Candace and Whitney are back with a classic catch-up episode. With spring in the air, the energy is shifting and the girls are feeling it. From birthday party planning chaos to a serious case of the “shopies,” they’re talking about what life looks like right now in their households and why they both feel that familiar itch to get out and experience life again. Candace shares an update on planning a joint birthday party for Alice and Evelyn (because planning a kids party is practically a full-time job), while Whitney fills us in on Greydon’s latest T-ball adventures. Candace also gives a sports mom update with Alice starting hockey. They also get into a fun conversation about the differences they’re noticing between raising girls and boys, and how those dynamics are playing out in everyday life. Plus, the spring energy is real. The girls talk about their sudden urge to shop, refresh their lives, and maybe even book a vacation. In this episode, they chat about: It’s a relaxed, honest catch-up filled with mom life updates, laughs, and a little springtime restlessness. EP 135: Kat Can Cook

3/3/2026
This week on Mom Group Chat, we’re sitting down with the incredibly talented and refreshingly honest Kathleen Ashmore — the creator behind Kat Can Cook. From working for Martha Stewart to building her own food platform and navigating motherhood in real time, Kathleen shares the evolution of her career, her identity, and her relationship with cooking. This episode is for the moms who have ever wondered: Who am I now? What does ambition look like in this season? And how do I get dinner on the table without losing my mind? We talk about all of it. In this episode, we cover: Kathleen brings such a grounded, calming perspective to the conversation. EP 134: All About Whitney

2/23/2026
If you’ve been listening for a while, you know Whitney. But do you really know Whitney? In this episode, we’re flipping the mic and diving deeper into the woman behind the one-liners, the calm presence, and the steady wisdom on Mom Group Chat. We talk about: It’s reflective. It’s honest. It’s a little nostalgic. And it might surprise you. If you’re new here, this is the perfect episode to get to know Whitney on a deeper level. EP 133: All About Candace

2/10/2026
If you’re new here, welcome 👋 This episode is part of our Get to Know Us series, and today the spotlight is on Candace. From the outside, you might see the energy, the business, the mom life, the doing-all-the-things vibe. But in this episode, we’re going deeper. This conversation is all about who Candace really is — how she operates, what’s changed in recent years, and the parts of her story that don’t always make it onto social media. If you’re a newer listener, this is a great one to help you get to know Candace better and feel more connected to the heart behind the mic. On this episode, we talk about: • How Candace has so much energy to do all the things she does • The sides of Candace that no one really knows (or doesn’t share often) • Candace’s 50-pound weight loss and what that experience was actually like • Candace’s favorite Mom Group Chat episodes and why those ones stand out • && so much more! EP 132: February Catch Up

2/3/2026
It’s our February catch-up episode, which means we’re covering a little bit of everything — real life updates, mom chaos, and the random obsessions that are getting us through winter. Whitney kicks things off with a recap of the wild Nashville ice storm that left them without power for days. Freezing temps, no electricity, kids stuck inside, and parents doing the absolute most to keep everyone fed, warm, and entertained. The cabin fever was real, routines were gone, and survival mode was fully activated. Candace recaps Gasparilla season — the chaos, the fun, the exhaustion, and the classic post-event realization that “this was amazing” and “I need three business days to recover” can both be true. Then we get into our latest fixation: Heated Rivalry. We’re recapping it, talking about why we’re so obsessed, and yes… the obsession spiraled far enough that Candace signed Alice up for hockey. (Influenced by TV? Maybe. Regrets? TBD.) Candace also shares what’s been weighing on her with applying to private schools — the process, the pressure, and the deeper layer underneath it all: re-evaluating why they want to go that route in the first place, and what actually feels aligned for their family versus what just sounds like the “right” move. If you’re feeling maxed out, stuck in winter chaos, and using a TV obsession as a personality trait right now… welcome. You’re in good company. EP 131: Parenting Chaos

1/27/2026
This week’s Mom Group Chat is a little chaotic… which feels fitting, because so is parenting toddlers right now. Candace and Whitney get real about this season of motherhood where the toddlers are testing everything, patience is thin, tempers are short, and it feels like you’re one spilled snack away from losing it. Candace shares a real-time realization she’s having about how she wants to show up differently, even when it’s hard, loud, and overstimulating. In true Mom Group Chat fashion, the conversation takes a HARD detour into Bravo land (because sometimes Housewives drama feels easier than our own). But we bring it back to what’s actually underneath it all: we love our kids, we want to be better, and we’re trying to lean more into positive reinforcement instead of constant correction and snapping. If you’ve felt like parenting your toddler lately is really freaking hard, and you’re not always proud of how you’re handling it, this episode is your reminder that you are not alone. EP 130: Mom Group Drama

1/20/2026
This week on Mom Group Chat, we’re diving into the celebrity mom-group drama that has been everywhere — and unpacking why it hit such a nerve. We break down what actually happened with Ashley Tisdale, Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore, and the now-viral conversation around “toxic” mom groups, exclusion, and evolving friendships in adulthood. From subtle social media moves to public reactions (including when partners get involved 👀), we talk through what’s fact, what’s speculation, and why this story feels so familiar to so many moms. Because let’s be honest — you don’t have to be famous to know what it’s like to outgrow a friend group, feel left out, or realize a dynamic just isn’t serving you anymore. We also shift gears and recap some of our favorite moments from the Golden Globe Awards — from standout looks to pop-culture moments that had everyone talking, plus our totally unqualified but very passionate opinions. ✨ In this episode, we chat about: As always, this is a judgment-free, sides-not-taken conversation — just real talk about motherhood, friendships, and navigating relationships in this season of life. EP 129: Moments to Look Forward to in Motherhood

1/13/2026
It’s easy to get stuck in the hard of the now — the exhaustion, the chaos, the “will this phase ever end?” feelings. It’s also easy to already feel nostalgic for stages that are flying by. But in this episode, we wanted to gently shift the perspective and remind ourselves (and you) that every new stage brings its own kind of magic. We’re sharing a few of the moments from right now that we’re genuinely loving — the things that have surprised us, softened us, and made us realize how sweet these later stages can be. In this episode, we talk about: This conversation is for the moms who feel caught between missing the past and surviving the present — and need a reminder that there’s still so much goodness ahead. EP 128: January Catch Up - Pedal to the Metal

1/6/2026
We’re officially back and jumping straight into the new year with all the energy. In this episode, we’re catching up on everything from the past few weeks and easing our way back into real life… while also feeling very ready to go full pedal-to-the-metal in 2026. We recap: We also take a minute to reflect on last January vs. now — how different things feel, what’s shifted, and how intentionally putting ourselves first over the last year genuinely changed our lives. More clarity, more confidence, and a lot less tolerating what doesn’t serve us anymore. If you’re feeling motivated, hopeful, reflective, or somewhere in between as the year kicks off, this one will feel like a cozy but energizing chat with friends who get it. EP 127: Holiday Hangover

1/5/2026
SURPRISE. This episode was recorded on 12/26, meant to go live on 12/30… and then the holidays happened. You know how it goes. So here we are, dropping it now as a little bonus episode straight from the weird, cozy, disorienting space between Christmas and New Year’s. In this episode of Mom Group Chat, we’re fully in the in-between. The fog. The “what day is it?” energy. The debate of all debates: do we stop drinking and try to reset our lives… or do we simply keep the party going until January tells us to stop? We recap our Christmas days, all the plans we somehow packed into one week, and the chaos and sweetness that comes with it. Candace talks birthday plans, we reflect on how full (and tired) we are, and mostly just let the conversation wander exactly the way it does during holiday break. No big theme. No lessons. No tidy wrap-up. Just a mish-mash, ramble-y, honest check-in from two moms trying to find their footing before real life kicks back in. Think of this episode as a voice memo from your friends while everyone’s still in leggings, eating leftovers, and pretending January isn’t coming yet. EP 126: Goodbye 2025, Hello 2026

12/16/2025
We’re officially closing the book on 2025. In true Mom Group Chat fashion, we’re getting honest, reflective, and a little excited about what’s next. In this episode, we’re walking through our goals and intentions for 2026, breaking them down into the categories that matter most in this season of life. This isn’t about rigid resolutions or pressure to “do it all.” It’s about clarity, alignment, and deciding how we actually want the next year to feel. We dive into: Family:Health:Career:Mom Group Chat:Personal Growth:If you’re heading into 2026 craving more intention and less pressure, this episode is for you. Grab a coffee, take a walk, or listen during a rare quiet moment—and maybe let this be your permission slip to reflect on what you want next.

EP 125: Motherhood Hot Takes

12/9/2025
This week’s episode is exactly what happens when two moms are overtired, slightly unhinged, and feeling way too comfortable behind the mic: we’re sharing our hottest takes. The ones you usually only send to your group chat with a “don’t cancel me for this” disclaimer. We’re talking everything from: ✨ Why we actually don’t care about red dyes (and the things we wish moms would stop fear-mongering over) 👶 The reality of being in the two under two club and why we deserve a medal 📱 Screen time honesty hour — what we allow, what we don’t, and why the mom shame around this topic needs to die already 🍼 The baby gear people swear by that… we just don’t get 🍽️ Kid snacks, picky eating, and the hills we’re weirdly willing to die on 🤪 And truly? So much more chaos we can’t even bullet-point it If you love episodes that feel like sitting on the couch with your funniest mom friends, laughing, venting, and validating each other — this one is your Super Bowl. EP 124: December Catch Up

12/2/2025
This week on Mom Group Chat, we are officially in our December era. We’re recapping everything from the past couple of weeks — starting with Whitney flying down to Tampa, the two of us getting to spend time together IRL, and our surreal moment of being featured on Daytime TV (!!). Candace also shares all the details from her recent NYC trip — the cozy vibes, the food, the friends, the fall magic — and why the city always feels like a reset button. We’re also talking about how the holiday chaos is starting to creep in… the schedules, the school events, the to-do lists, the mental gymnastics. And, of course, we get into the very real realization that our bodies can no longer keep up with every holiday drink, treat, and festive outing the way they used to. (One spiked hot chocolate and we’re done for.) It’s a catch-up episode full of stories, laughs, and that “ok good, it’s not just me” energy we all need this time of year. EP 122: Thanksgiving Excitement

11/18/2025
This week on Mom Group Chat, we’re officially entering the era of pitch-black-at-5PM… and honestly? We have thoughts. Big ones. We’re talking all things Thanksgiving excitement — the food, the vibes, the outfits, the fact that somehow we’re already planning desserts like our lives depend on it. And then we get into the real mom talk: what on earth we’re doing with our kids once the sun disappears at 4:59PM. From our current go-to evening activities to the ones that are only happening because we’re desperate (hi, sensory bins at 6:15PM), we’re sharing exactly how we’re filling the nighttime hours without losing our minds.
