After years of disappointment in the 1980’s, new GM Tom Donahoe quickly built the Steelers into a Super Bowl contender in the 1990’s via a handful of shrewd drafts, trades, and free agent signings. The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Houston Oilers (and later the Tennessee Titans) had a fierce rivalry. The years of them being the two best teams in the NFL, the briefcase gift, the Commander Cody game, the fights and ejections - these two teams really did not like each other!
