He started swimming at the age of 7 and continued with the sport into the college ranks before getting a start in triathlon. Along the way, he got to experience the training and competition at the highest level of swimming which served as a foundation for understanding what it means to develop as an athlete. Since starting in the sport of triathlon, he has taken home numerous top age group finishes and aspires to compete at a level on par with other elite amateurs.
