Each week, Pat Summerall brought on guests that no other host could offer. Pat took you inside the locker room after the game and in the broadcast booth after the mic’s were turned off. Summerall also offered up opinions on the day's sports headlines and athletes. Thanks to his many years in the business, Summerall's opinions were based on real life experiences and face-to-face meetings with athletes such as Terrell Owens, Jack Nicklaus and Troy Aikman. It was an irreverent look at some of the most prominent figures in sports history. We are pleased to once again offer the archives of the Pat Summerall Show on the VoiceAmerica Sports Channel.

Today on The Pat Summerall Show, Pat talks about the Pittsburgh guarantee in New England and the Cowboys struggles in Detroit. The Dallas offense is certainly rolling along, but do fans in the Big D have something to worry about with the defense. Pat also touches on the lady luck that the Cowboys are playing with. The interview this week is with former New York Giant, New York Jet, New England Patriot, and Dallas Cowboy head coach Bill Parcells. Parcells discusses Tony Romo's success as well as the success of the Cowboys as a whole. Pat also called his first game of the season this week on FOX. He let listeners in on the travels and what it was like to announce for the first time in nearly a year.

Pat discussed whether or not the gap between the AFC and NFC was shrinking due to the Indianapolis loss and the great play from Dallas and Green Bay. In Segment two, Pat had a face to face interview with Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. Romo talked about the difficulties of playing in the NFL, as well as what it is like to be worth just over 11 Million dollars per year. Finally, Pat talked about the Texas Tech head coach Mike Leach and whether or not his criticism of college referee's was legit. In closing, Pat discussed how to keep NFL players out of trouble...is there something that can be done before they get into the league? This week on the Pat Summerall Show, Pat talks about the Philadelphia Eagles and the New Orleans Saints. Do either of these teams have a chance to make the playoffs now that they are winning. Pat has a lengthy conversation with Indianapolis Colts GM Bill Polian about the upcoming mega matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and the New England Patriots, both are 7-0. Also Polian gives his take on the NFL game in London, and why NFL owners may offer resistance to the idea. In the final segment, Pat will give his opinion on the Patriots Vs. Colts matchup...who will win and why? And Pat gives an opinion on why Baseball has gotten so far off track...hint...Alex Rodriguez.

Battle in the Big D...Not So Big

Pat Summerall talked about the Battle in the Big D and how the Cowboys just werent ready to face a quarterback with Tom Brady's ability. He also broke down the NFC East and gave his prediction on where the Cowboys, Redskins, Eagles and Giants would finish. That division is starting to become very competitive. In segment two, Pat talked about 43 year old Vinny Testeverde and his comeback to the NFL to lead the Carolina Panthers to a victory against the Cardinals. Perhaps his comeback and success is no fluke. He just might be a good fit for the Panthers. In the third segment, Pat talked to Brian Billick, the Baltimore Ravens Head Coach, about trends in the NFL. In the final segment Pat broke down the BCS in College Football and why a playoff system is not an option.

This week, Pat will discuss week four of the NFL and the poor play of the Philadelphia Eagles offensive line. He will then go around the league to look at who's out and who's still in the battle for each division. Then its Summeralls Super Six, Pats Picks and commentary on why DeAngelo Hall, Falcons D-back, cant keep his mouth shut. Pat will discuss what is it about certain players that always have to be in the negative spotlight. Also, Pat will feature and interview with Archie Manning, a 14-year standout at quarterback with the New Orleans Saints. Manning is best known now for being the father of Peyton and Eli, who play for the Indianapolis Colts and New York Giants respectively.

Pat Summerall Tackles the NFL and Oklahoma State Football Head Coach Mike Gundy

Pat Summerall went around the league and spoke about the surprises and disappointments thus far in the young NFL season. He detailed the play of Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo... and hinted that quarterback play is the reason the five undefeated teams are in such good shape three weeks into the season. In addition, Pat re-racked an interview with Colts head coach Tony Dungy and gave his take on the blow up Mike Gundy gave to a columnist who downgraded the play of Oklahoma States quarterback.
