He is finishing his advanced degree in positive psychology, and also has an MBA and Masters in Education, which he uses to build innovative and effective programs for those struggling with addiction

Military Service is a family tradition for the Brown family and Willon Brown spent more than a decade in United States Marine Corps. He shares his story and a little unclassified information about psychological operations. Willon is also one of the newest Dickey's family members in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Jason and Howard Henry are brothers who share an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for food. They share their journeys including working at movie theaters, returning to school, and the importance of working with family. Jason and Howard are the newest Dickey's owners in Marietta, CA.

Dhaval Shah has spent his career in hospitality. He's committed to helping his community, particularly providing clean water to advance education of women and young girls. During the Covid-19 pandemic he also used his Minneapolis hotel as a way to provide housing for homeless and housing insecure members of the community. Dhaval is also the newest Dickey's Barbecue Pit Owner in Virginia.

Josh Hicks spent more than 2 decades in the military and government contracting. His Air Force experience not only introduced him to his wife on the firing range but also had him stationed in Europe for a number of years. He and his wife are committed to giving back to the community, including as the Newest Dickey's barbecue Pit Owner in Rockwall, Texas.

Demetrius Gibson is a dedicated public servant - serving on the board of directors for the Township of Cook County and the board of trustees. He is committed to diversity, inclusion and cultural awareness. Demetrius is also the newest Dickey's Barbecue Pit owner in Schaumburg Township, Illinois.

On this episode of Dickey's Doing Good, we're hearing from Daniel Unsworth, After spending time in the United States Army, Daniel became an aerospace contractor for the government. He is a jack of all trades who has created businesses to address community needs. including his latest adventure - the newest Dickey's Barbecue Pit in Ohio.

Warren McClendon spent four years seeing the world and serving his country with the United States Navy. After his time in the Navy, he transitioned to a 13 year career in law enforcement including the Magee and Brookhaven, Mississippi Police Departments. Now Warren is opening a new career chapter as the owner of Dickey's Barbecue Pit in Little Rock, Arkansas. He plans to continue to grow his barbecue empire across Arkansas. He shares his story and some secret recipes of his too!

Law enforcement is the family business for Detective Angela Arredondo. She has spent more than 23 years as a Dallas Police Officer and her husband, Robert Arredondo, is the Chief of Police for the Victoria Police Department. But that's not all! DPD's Explosive Detection Canine Apollo is Angela's partner and is part of the family. You might even see them patrolling at Dallas Love Field Airport. Angela loves to give back to the community through her work with the Assist the Officer Foundation, as well as the nonprofit Kate's Books, which she founded with her daughter to help provide books for unprivileged children across Dallas.

From playing collegiate basketball and being a a golden gloves champion to taking bad guys off the street and starring on the TV show Dallas SWAT, Dallas Police Department Detective Misty VanCuren's personal and professional experiences have given her some incredible stories. Scott is a firefighter and paramedic who has been with the Irving Fire Department for more than 11 years. While he started his career in the hotel industry, after 10 years he felt called to being a firefighter where he could help people in their time of need.

This week on Dickey's Doing Good we're talking with Officer Misty McBride. Misty has been in law enforcement for more than a decade and shares her harrowing experience on July 7, 2016. She was one of the dozen police officers that were shot that night in downtown Dallas. She shares her story, her recovery and her future with us.

This week's Dickey's Doing Good guest is United States Army Master Sergeant Steve Turnboo. Steve has spent nearly 20 years with the US Army and is currently a Ranger, ROTC and Senior Military Instructor at James Madison University. Steve is also one of the newest Dickey's Barbecue Pit Owners in Pasadena, Maryland.

Vaughn spent 10 years in the United States Army where he achieved the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. He had various roles in the military including working with microwave radios and the Hawk Missile System. Vaughn is also a new Dickey's Barbecue Pit Owner in Washington State.
