S1 Episode 1 - An Innovation Mindset

9/16/2020
In our first episode, posAbilities Director of Innovation, Gord Tulloch, talks with us about how an innovation mindset can help create real change and bring more meaning and purpose into people's lives. For decades, the community living movement has worked to create more inclusive communities where people with disabilities can participate as full citizens. At posAbilities, we're stretching ourselves toward a vision of good and full lives for everyone. But what do we mean when we say "good and full lives" and how do we get there? Gord has co-written a book with Dr. Sarah Schulman, a founder of InWithForward, that dives deeper into what we've learned on our journey so far. The Trampoline Effect: Redesigning our Social Safety Nets comes out October 27, 2020. Visit trampoline-effect.ca for more information about the book. Learn more about our collaborative work in social research and development at degreesofchange.ca and keep up with everything we do on our website, posabilities.ca.
