E, Natural Born Sistah, who inspires black women to groom and confidently flaunt their natural hair. In this episode Lisa E, a Natural Hair Mentor and Enthusiast, is talking about how “Natural Hair is Hard''. No one said this journey of embracing your natural hair would be easy, especially with certain textures being the hardest when it comes to style-game and the opportunity to maintain natural hair health. In this episode, Lisa talks about how water is not the best idea for 4c hair types as it shrinks the hair, leaving very few styling options for those who have shorter lengths. Lisa has struggled with coarse hair and shrinkage at the beginning of her journey and was frustrated at the fact that this tip of using water, left her without the opportunity to implement different hair styles due to the amount of shrinkage she retained from adding the water. And although adding water is important to any natural hair routine to attain the best manageability, she fought this idea and did not take part in its benefits of softening yet shrinking the hair. E, aka Natural Born Sistah, who inspires black women to groom and confidently flaunt their natural hair. In this episode with Lisa E, a Natural Hair Enthusiast, is talking about her first day of coming out fully in her natural and gray hair. She mentions the cost and the amount of time she spent while at the salon, and was not happy to say the least. Not because of her hair, but her own reservations about what other people would think coming out natural. She is talking about how she was not the bravest when it came to coming out, so it removed her confidence completely when she saw what her hair looked like groomed for the first time. Lisa talks about how confidence can take you to the next level of your coming out or embracing your natural hair journey. She knows that confidence will play a lifelong part in her journey to remain natural and wants to share this experience with others who are trying to claim this rite of passage. Over time Lisa has come to love her natural coils and the color of her gray natural hair. So much so, she wants you too to bask in the greatness of rocking your natural hair with confidence. "Growing Graysfully” My Premature Gray Hair Growth Journey

10/12/2022
Host: Lisa. E EPISODE SUMMARY This podcast is dedicated to celebrating the journey of black women to embrace their natural hair, with our host, Lisa. E, aka Natural Born Sistah,, who inspires black women to groom and confidently flaunt their natural hair. In this episode with Lisa E, a Natural Hair Enthusiast, she is talking about premature graying at a young age. She talks about her issues with premature graying of her hair and the possible medical reasons for its early arrival. She is talking about her life experience in dealing with gray hair. As Lisa emphasizes, the color of your hair shouldn't determine your beauty and style. Be creative because gray hair can be just as sexy as if it was dyed. Don’t allow society to determine when you should be gray, allow nature to take its course. Lisa has been graying since in her twenties and has recently come out with her gray the same time she did with being natural. She rather wear her hair the color it is, instead of taking chances with chemicals that can ruin her health. She will also share with you how important it is to know what you are putting in your hair/scalp when trying to reverse nature with chemicals. "Kinky Sex” Keeping your natural hair Kinky and SEXY

9/28/2022
Host: Lisa. E EPISODE SUMMARY This podcast is dedicated to celebrating the journey of black women to embrace their natural hair, with our host, Lisa. E, aka Natural Born Sistah,, who inspires black women to groom and confidently flaunt their natural hair. In this episode with Lisa E, a Natural Hair Enthusiast, talks about sex, but not about the act of sex itself, but she talks about having sex with your natural hair. Now for the most part, she is talking to 4c Sistahs who are struggling with the styling or texture of their hair when it comes to having sex. As Lisa emphasizes, hair shouldn't dominate the act. During intimate moments with your partner, focus on what makes you feel confident in that bedroom, not what your hair is doing. SHOW NOTES Although newly natural for close to 2 years, Lisa is no newbie to natural hair sex. She has however covered her hair using a bonnet in the past, but is dead set against it for new relationships. She makes it a point to summarize that once you go in freely, it will get easier every time.
